We don’t attack people here. Doug, I certainly do understand your point, and I appreciate your faith in me. Many times, CGC will encourage newer graders to work closely with veterans. In this way, it allows them to see why a veteran grader arrived at a given grade. Of course, even veteran graders don't always see eye-to-eye, and this may be one of the reasons there are occasional fluctuations in grading. In other words, it's not an exact science. I still inspect a lot of books, both raw and slabbed. There are times when I don't agree with the grade, but I usually just do this: Or once in a while, even this: And of course you're right---this is a safe space. She was very personable and accommodating, signing whatever you put in front of her. I also bought her book and had her sign a couple Vampi issues(photo covers) I had on hand. The original cover proof for Vampirella 80, which ended up with a different background, blurb and color scheme on 83. Personally, I prefer this version. It's a pain to photograph correctly, but it looks so much better in person. I actually rolled the dice and sold my 9.0 copy before I sent this one to be graded. Jackpot on the upgrade!
