From what I've read, there was a radio program in the late '40's that featured an old witch as the host, and it was from that, that Gaines and Feldstein got the idea of having one as a comic book host on their new trend title, TFTC. I did start buying lower grade ones to try and finish the run. Finally scored a 55, unmarked but only a 3.0. Looking at it, is seems like somewhere between a 6.0 and 7.0.
