Picked this up at Torpedo from Mike Carbo of all people for just a hair over half guide. I love sphynix covers. I couldn’t pass it up. He had a few more similar GLs and a small pile of All American. I really only wanted this one though.

Thanks Mikey!

Not an issue you see too often. I wonder how many of these Axis-atrocities-against-children covers there are? Exciting 39 is probably the best known, but I think there are others. hm

Truth is, I've kind of faded on collecting Hitler covers.  But I really like this one. A bit surprised to see only one higher-graded copy (an 8.5) on the census (unless I'm missing something).

Thanks! An accumulation of books that I finally got back from ye olde slabbery, or, in the case of the BB, finally had a chance to take a look at.

SWEET!! :applause:

Street & Smith 'magic'. Many of the WWII comic covers matched the propaganda posters of the era pound for pound!

Good point. I hadn't thought of it, but that cover does resemble a propaganda poster. One of my favorite -- maybe the favorite -- Pearl Harbor posters.

Why?

My weak attempt at sarcastic humorlol

I'm over the moon about the book, at this grade I'm not risking even touching the slab without a Mylar over it and gloves on my hands - more or less a press. :ohnoez:

However, the IPG (if pressed grade) is a 10.1. (+0.5).
