I sold this one for my buddy like 15 years ago, then spent the next 14 years trying to get it back. Not going anywhere this time. Wow! Looks like it would tie highest graded (or maybe higher) if slabbed . Congrats!

Early covers were from pulps and the later covers were by Powell. Skulls and black cats were a common addition. The Shadow radio shows were rebroadcast by KMOX back in the sixties and the old time radio show in New York about 2001-2008. I don't know when the radio show stopped but I enjoyed listening while I traveled from Philly to NYC. Since then I have purchased many of the shows for my collection. Popular Post comicginger1789
I have only recently gotten into Golden Age books. It started with discovering LB Cole a decade ago. Then, I was in university so my comic budget was at an all time low but it did secure an affordable book. I left it at that until the last couple years when I started seeing how many amazing covers there were in all genres. So here I am now, of course, trying to secure books at a time when certain artists are getting more value than ever. Great for the hobby but hard for cheapos like me. That being said, I have told myself that if I find a book that appeals to me and the price is right, I am buying it. And I am shooting for at least 1-2 books per month. Here is this month's find. Never read Doll Man but for a cover with some bondage and a cool car, I could not say no. Larryw7, szav, buttock and 5 others
