Really happy to get this Rudolph 1 recently. Sole census highest, goes nicely with my census highest number 2 😎

So they're both the "first issue"?  What's up CGC?

His Good+ books are usually at least VG by CGC standards.

Every issue was number 1 since they didn't have numbers LOL

Got this one yesterday. The only way I can afford these is by getting low grade copies. Even mid-grade is getting out of control.oto1Y5.jpg

I love that cover!

And that is a nice presenting low grade.

An old friend hooked me up with this one.  Super excited!

Since the centerfold is detached, the seller had a color copy made before submitting the comic book.

I think this "beauty and the beast" girl carrying cover may be my favorite little subset genre :x

I am currently missing two examples I need to pick up again but these are the ones I have now.

Picked this up last week.  Love the date stamp in the T of Two.  I'm not typically into war covers but I've always thought this was one of Davis' best.  This is a Jim Payette 3.0 by the way.

Davis's EC work is quite a contrast with his work for Mad, his covers for TV Guide, or his sports caricatures.

This is my favorite EC cover of his.

I think the Rudolphs were annuals and not numbered.

This is one of my best comic days ever because something I have been wanting for two years actually happened today. I have wanted this Fight Comics 35 Lily Renee Senorita Rio 10 page story original art for a while and it finally came together thanks to a kind boardie friend. I love all the doodles she did around the perimeter and on the bottom on several pages.
