Popular Post sagii
..After seeing @Sqeggs and @BuscemasAvengers post those Street & Smith Shadow Comics with those amazing covers, i had to have something from the publisher. Nabbed this last weekend, not The Shadow, but a cool Halloween-esque Super Magician cover. Love that it's from early golden age 1941. The covers and the stories convey that 'film noir' feel in their visual and literary expressions, and I can only imagine what was going through the imaginations of the kids who were attracted to them at the time!!! sagii

The cover, interior splashes and page work by Everett and co. are awesome in this book. A very underrated pre code book. One of the all-time greats. Popular Post miraclemet
Some fun stuff arrived today. almost all board bought, no restoration surprises And all but 2 books were within 1/2 a grade of what they were sold as. First up a Windy City Then some sci-fi goodness... I sent in two copies of Space Action #1 cause I coundnt decide which was the higher grade... Thanks CGC! That helped... Even the PQ is the SAME! Next up is a newly highest in grade.... (previous high was 8.5) Now on to the other genres... War! Ok the less serious side of war.... and one of my favorite bondage covers ever... Then a couple of the best Archie covers, a 53 and the 78 "Clutch" innuendo cover. and finally the odd ball Cole Western cover thats it, thanks for looking! JoeRock
Since folks are posting up Super Magician Comics(I previously posted this in the Church copy thread, but it’s a cool book so who cares) I’ll add my copy with staples that may or may not have been replaced by Mr. Church himself, beat that Church Copy Action 1......may or may not be original Edgar Church staples.....haha sagii and Joshua33
