House was built in 1979.  We moved in about 2 1/2 years ago.

I was hoping to hear maybe a recent inspection or insurance. But and by the pics, I suppose the cgc boxes where on the other side of the room to the desk and the caved ceiling, + water? :(

That is correct.  That is why it could have been worse.  All of my more "collectible" comics were on the shelves off the floor and on the other side of the room.  Was really bummed about ASM 298 considering I just got it and had planned on submitting it.  The desk area is where I bag and board my new books.  Just happened to have the 298 and a 306 (which somehow survived with no damage thankfully).

There were a lot of F-bombs at first but upon reflection I realize it isn't too bad.

Inquiring minds need to know ;)

And If it's not too much trouble, what does the back of the acrylic look like? Or what kind of support does it have for the back?

Sorry for the delay guys. You can get them on eBay or as storm shadow says from cgagrading. Remember to get the giant size ones as they fit the standard new slabs. Pics as requested!17E1D0C0-D12C-441C-A021-869AE7BC889A.thumb.jpeg.0ba5b03a06579f96f59706e0d07f5380.jpeg9919DE10-946F-4A56-936E-EEC28C9D8EA5.thumb.jpeg.57baf9b57dd3bd90e3428d437e19fce1.jpeg1B664B76-75E1-48C3-99ED-F7B52EF55FA4.thumb.jpeg.e188d6285607078601e9a621e7e44d6e.jpegF9C9D239-26F2-4EAB-B038-F5E73F247E63.thumb.jpeg.7fec809213af8ed01a05abd13c99d042.jpeg

Those are :headbang: a little expensive, as I don't have a room in the house without windows, except for closets..

The UV protection would be needed....

Thanks for the pics ^^

I guess that I could just buy 1 or 2 With UV protection and change them out :) glad I could find them on eBay too, as I don't know how long it'll take before money is allocated to cases rather than comics lol
