Thank goodness for this thread! It's like a diamond floating atop a cesspool (general). I think Lucey's gag covers rival those of Bob Montana's in the late 40's and always bring back warm mamaries to me.

I love Lucey covers and have lots more to show, but I haven't been able to find much time for posting lately! Harry Lucey always did great work on interior pages too, Here's the first two pages of a great story..

Nice, Forsythe! Lucey's style has that style of art that wins me over the same way C.C. Beck's does!

Lucey was definately one of the "Good" artist as far as Archie was concerned and his GA superhero stuff, particulary the Hangman, was great too. I can't thank Forsythe enough for starting this thread and keeping it going.
