AMAZING SPIDERMAN 362 CGC 9.9 WHAT'S IT WORTH ?

Hello, I just got back a Amazing Spider-man # 362 CGC 9.9. Highest Graded.

I do sell on eBay, but I have no idea what this thing is worth, ...currently.

 

I've seen other AMS non venom issues sell in 9.9 for $175 - $350 and then some.

 

Considering how hot Venom and Carnage are, I wonder what would could a book like that command today? I Probably plan to sell it.

 

Any thoughts appreciated.

First of all, Congrats on your grade! I submitted over 30-40 copies and didn't get a single 9.9 back. (Lots of 9.8s and a few 9.6s)

 

There are already 3 ASM #362 CGC 9.9s in the census... so the bloom is off a bit.

 

However, I can see your 9.9 easily going in the range you specified ($175-$350)

I'm actually shocked at the lack of 9.9s and 10.0s of this book.

I think the reason why there is a lack of 9.9 's on AMS # 361 and 362's, from my experiences, both issues are often found with small printing tears on the back bottom cover.

 

Has anyone else found this to be the case more times than not ?

Whatever it is worth if you want to make casheroo from it sell it NOW. Take advantage of the movie hype and some doofus will throw greenbacks at you and smak you right in the face like a big meaty floppy saggy. If you unwisely because of emotions hold it, then try to sell it later after the movie hype, you will lose out bigtime. Be gone I say! The force is with you!

And then you can buy a nice ASM 86 and try to break the grade

There is a CGC 9.9 graded copy with white pages and the old label for sale currently for $675 on Pedigree Comics.

Dr_Neff seems like the authority , since he has a " Dr" in his title. I think I can trust him, so I assume he is right.

 

I'll try my luck on ebay in the near future.

that may be the case. looking on the back of my 361 i see a slight tear, probably why mine is just 9.8, and the fact that it's not centered due to the staple alignment....
