I have about 300 or so books (a few dupes), 6 of them slabbed. I expect that number to jump up to 350 with about 18 more slabs added by Feb. All but about 35 are FFs :grin:

63 long boxes - about 19000 books

6 magazine boxes - about 500 books

about 500 CGC'd books

 

about 10 short boxes but I am not sure what is in them yet.

When I look at the number of books people have, I am envious of the people with a few thousand or less. I am sitting around 15k to 20k with a mixture of gold, silver, bronze, copper and a small amount of modern. I would LOVE to cut it to about 3000...

I'm currently sitting around 750-800 and based on my goals... I'm thinking I'll probably make it to around 2k by the time I switch from collecting to working on other aspects of my hobby (upgrading, OA, etc).

 

I can't even imagine getting up past 5k...

Actually, I'm quite curious myself. My guess is around 1300?, but some rainy day (or snowy day) I think I'll do an inventory.

I think I'm about 2500 but I could cut that to about 1000 tomorrow if I could bring myself to throw some away. For some reason I can't stand losing the value tied up in them but can't make myself spend the time to get them sold.

Man, for me 3000 is way too many. I can't imagine dealing with 20,000. I'm hoping to cut my collecting in half in the next year or two.

I came up with the 3k number becasue of how I collect. I am a completest so I have Batman 1 up which is over 700 books. I am trying to do finish the Detective run which is over 800 so that puts it to 1500 books. I keep classic cover issues so another 200 books, Spiderman, Daredevil, ... pretty soon you are at 3000 so it adds up pretty quick.
