Modern Vs. Universal

We used the Modern (red) label at first to distinguish the Modern books (1975-present) but after a while we found it was not necessary, so we now use Universal (blue) labels. If you send in a book with a Modern label for a New Holder service it will be replaced with a Universal label.

I kind of curious when that change happened? Since CGC books should be reslabbed periodically, knowing when the Modern labels stopped being used would help date a Modern label book I bought from Ebay or wherever and don't know the history

thanks
