Revised Price Schedule for CGC Services, Effective May 1, 2009

These changes constitute the first comprehensive revision to CGC’s price schedule since February 2003. The price for most comic book grading tiers will increase, but correspondingly CGC is also raising the insured value limits for the lower priced tiers. This means that slightly higher value books will be eligible for submission using the Value and Economy tiers.
A handful of related service changes will also go into effect. For the first time, Pre-Screen Service will be offered to books submitted at the Value tier level, creating a more cost-effective service option for lower value books. The date range for comics eligible for Modern service is being changed to 1980 to present. Also, starting May 1, CGC will no longer offer credits for returned certification labels. The price schedule for all Comic Magazine grading tiers remains unchanged.
Collectors Society members and CGC Member Dealers will continue to receive their same percentage discounts from the Retail Prices shown on the following table.

*Modern service is limited to books published from 1980 to the present.
**Re-Holder Service is for a chipped, scratched or cracked holder that has not been opened or had its seals broken. We will place your comic in a new holder.
NOTE: All Re-Holder Submissions are subject to review for tampering and accuracy of grade.
***Comics submitted for Re-Certification with their original label ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE THE SAME GRADE.

National Holidays and the Fridays of a major Convention are not counted as Business Days for submission processing.
