CGC and Friends Unite for KultureCity Charity Auction

Posted on 2/18/2022

All proceeds from the Heritage Auctions sale will go directly to the worthy nonprofit.

Several exciting collectibles graded by Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) will be featured in an upcoming Heritage Auctions sale that benefits KultureCity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sensory awareness and inclusion for people with invisible disabilities such as autism, dementia, PTSD and more. The KultureCity Charity Auction is being held from February 17 to March 3.

CGC would like to thank the donors who have generously shared items to be a part of the sale, including Heritage Auctions, Pedigree Comics, Jon Bolerjack, Elite Comics11, Regie Simmons, GoCollect, Steve Aoki, Tyler Kirkham, Ryan Ottley, Rich Henn and Kulture City Co-Founder, Julian Maha M.D. The items consist of CGC-graded comic books, posters and other incredible collectibles. Below are just a few of the exceptional items that collectors have the opportunity to acquire:

  • Signed Steve Aoki Worn Tour Shoes
  • Amazing Spider-Man #49 graded CGC 9.8 (CGC Signature Series Sketch Cover - Legal Burning)

“It was incredible to see the passion that donors put into this auction and how involved they were in making it happen,” said Harshen Patel, Vice President CGC. “It has been an honor working with KultureCity and being a part of their heartfelt mission.”

Last year, CGC created a custom label for KultureCity. This label is still available to the public for CGC Universal (blue) and Signature Series (yellow) submissions. It features the KultureCity logo and slogan, “Make the nevers possible,” with a vibrant watercolor background that conveys sensory accessibility and inclusion. For every label sold, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to KultureCity.
