The most valuable comic issue in the hobby, Action Comics #1, is the top highlight in the large selection of CGC comics featured in Heritage’s August 4-5 Signature Comics and Comic Art Auction, to be held at the company’s Dallas location and online at HA.com.

Highlights of the group include:

Action Comics #1 (DC, 1938) CGC FN- 5.5 Cream to off-white pages.

Startling Comics #49 Mile High pedigree (Better Publications, 1948) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages.

Batman #11 (DC, 1942) CGC NM 9.4 White pages.

The Amazing Spider-Man #1 UK Edition (Marvel, 1963) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages.

All Star Comics #8 (DC, 1942) CGC VG 4.0 Slightly brittle pages.
