August is On-Site Grading Month!

CGC will be doing on-site grading at the Tampa Comic Con August 5-7th, and CGC and CCS will be doing on-site pressing and grading at Wizard World Chicago August 18-21st!

Stop by the CGC booth at the Tampa Comic Con, Booth 611 or at Wizard World Chicago at booth 401 to submit your books for on-site grading! Wizard World Chicago Comic Con, The Wizard World Chicago show will be hosted at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., Aug. 18-21st.

CGC will be grading on site for all service levels. These include Modern, Economy, Standard, Express and more! Head over to the CGC booth to submit comic books for on-site grading or to request Signature Series witnessed signature authentication services.

On-site certification will occur during the weekend of the show and your books will be returned to the booth by the end of the show on Sunday.

On-site Comic Tier Pricing:

• Modern (comics 1975–present, valued US $200 or less) — US $30
• Economy (comics valued US $300 or less) — US $55
• Standard (comics valued US $1,000 or less) — US $90
• Express (comics valued US $3,000 or less) — US $140
• WalkThru (comics any value) — 3% FMV, min. $225 / max. $3,000

Signature Series On-site Comic Tier Pricing:

• Modern (comics 1975–present, valued US $200 or less) — US $40
• Economy (comics valued US $300 or less) — US $65
• Standard (comics valued US $1,000 or less) — US $100
• Express (comics valued US $3,000 or less) — US $155
• WalkThru (comics any value) — 3% FMV, min. $225 / max. $3,000

On-site Comic Pressing Tier Pricing:

• Modern (comics 1975–present, valued US $200 or less) — US $25
• Economy (comics valued US $500 or less) — US $55
• Standard (comics valued US $1,000 or less) — US $90
• Express (comics valued US $3,000 or less) — US $140
• WalkThru (comics any value) — 2.5% FMV, min. $250

Come by the show to meet the creators and stars, submit books to CGC and even have a few books witnessed under the prestigious Signature Series designation. Stop by the booth first for details about this program or you can make arrangements in advance on our Chat Boards.

Signature Series requests can be made for on-site grading. However, if CGC and its affiliates are unable to obtain the artist(s) signature(s) by Saturday early afternoon, the books will not be able to be submitted for on-site certification and will have to be brought back to CGC’s facility for regular tiers of certification. You will be responsible for all costs associated with the grading and shipping of this comic in order for it to retain its Signature Series designation.
