Black and White Books
Collectors Unite
I felt a need to express the beauty of black and white.....
Firstly, as film goes, even Black and White's like Beauty and the Beast (1946...Jean Cocteau), Spellbound (1945... with Salvidor Dali work)...the list goes on.... even to more moderns as Dead Man and Eraserhead could not be as potent as a colorized film.
Taking that into account (and classic old films) I feel that the Brain takes in the information as "black and white" where the hues and saturations will not get lost within the understanding or "translating".
A few examples of popularity that come to mind are...
Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles
Walking Dead
Vampirella
Old Elfquest
....etc....
There becomes an almost timelessness to the stories.....
Anyhow....just blogging to The You
