I also have a bunch of inspirational people two of them being Walt Disney and Steve Jobs because I want to be the next rags to riches story not to the degree of Steve Jobs or Walt Disney but I want to make a million dollars buying and selling a comic and making enough money with this venture to never again say I can't afford something :)

I'm not delusional.

Delusional disorder can be very difficult to treat, in part because those who have it often have poor insight and do not know there’s a psychiatric problem

Yeah I'm not blind. I see what you're repeating over and over. I'm telling you because it's true.

I was very glad to listen to my mentor when I was in law school. I never would have accomplished half of what I have if it wasn’t for her advice. I still see her a few times a year for dinner and run things by her.

That's good.

And as a lawyer, you probably see all kinds of 18-20 year olds who drink, smoke, smoke pot, drive too fast, and get in trouble because they didn't listen to their parents or elders. I'm not saying your situation doesn't happen - glad it happened for YOU - I just see a lot more kids who DON'T seem to listen to that advice.

The frontal lobe is not fully developed in males until the mid 20s. There is a scientific reason for the idiocy of the young - the part of the brain that tells you "maybe that's not such a great idea" doesn't work the way it's supposed to.

They should absolutely be embarrassed. Reading through this I just kept thinking - if something ever happens to this kid, THIS JOURNAL is a document of online bullying from some of these people.

I don't find Gabe to be a bad guy in the least bit - he's just another soul searching for hope in the world. We just watched him take on some of the biggest trolls on this forum here and handled himself pretty assuredly.

Those here passing judgement on him... THAT is what is sad.

When I was 23 I thought I knew more than everyone, definitely would not take advice from old people (most of who thought I was delusional) made a lot of mistakes, did a lot of dangerous stuff, but hey I made it through.  Gabe actually seems pretty close to normal to me.  Sounds like what it’s like to be 23!

Tell me, what will you do when I'm right about all that I say?

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one, correct me if I'm wrong but it seems the older generation considers anything too far out of their comfort zone as "delusional" yes?

Sure, 100% agree with you.

For starters, I want to see if you can admit when you would be wrong, that I'm not delusional, and this is real. Of course, when all the proof is in place. But I want to know.

To paraphrase you...

I've already told you that I would admit it if I were wrong. But you're not listening.

It's very simple for me to admit that I'm wrong. (shrug)

How long are we going to have to wait for proof of her existence, let alone her "superhuman powers"?

Shouldn't take more than a day, really...or if she is your wife...all of five minutes.

I can't make any real deals, because I would be complicit if you were injured.

You're no fun. You really think I would call the cops on you or something if I got hurt?

Is that so? Then why do you have such a hard time admitting that I'm not delusional?

I said I will be getting pics when I meet her in person.

No. I'm completely fine in terms of that.

I agree...sadly it took along time for mine to develop, for me to see how high risk my behavior actually was,and I still have to challenge my thinking from time to time and...
