Charlton Comics - 15 Cent Price Variants

Here is a summary of all the Charlton 15c Price Variants that I have discovered hiding between the dates of March and April 1962. Meanwhile, here is an up to date summary of what I have discovered so far, which I hope you will find interesting.

Notes and Observations

My research shows that Charlton 15 cent price variants exist for the indicia months of March and April 1962. It actually makes sense for them to exist for 2 months, March and April, as Charlton published their titles bi-monthly, with half in one month and the other half the next, so covering two months would have ensured that all their current titles were included in the market test prior to the formal switch from 10c to 12c (presumably the test indicated that 15c was too high!).

So 41 possible issues may exist. Here are the ten currently confirmed copies (I own eight of them):

In all of the eight copies that I own, the price is the only difference between them and their 10c priced counterparts. The indicias and all other aspects are the same.

The books are ridiculously hard to find, so happy hunting, if you decide to build a set! Only time will tell if all 41 books exist....
