I'm going to try and sneak over there on Saturday. My weekend is pretty busy already so it will be a quick visit. If there is anything worth photographing ill snap a few and post them up.

I'm planning on going, too.

Would definitely like to hear reviews of this from both of you.  If its a worthwhile jaunt, hopefully next year its at the same location (e.g. not far from the house) and on a different weekend than C2E2!

Its right off I88 so its possible to hit both the same day but then you're looking at 2 entry fees. If i'm paying for C2E2 im staying there till they kick me out.

Not sure if they plan it this way but it was the same weekend as C2E2 last year also. I heard it's a good show. I should try it, it's close enough to me that I could literally walk there.

Unless someone can tell me different I think i'm going to pass. From what i'm reading and seeing, this show is mainly western, romance and other rare stories. I'm mainly a superhero collector so there's not much that appeals to me.

Correct; there are comics there but it's an afterthought. Probably three dealers specializing in comics; one was very organized but mainly older stuff (and overpriced IMO); other two were more reasonable on prices but selection was meh

If you want comics this weekend, C2E2 is the place to be.

For a review of the show earlier this month, you can see one at:

We pick our dates a few years in advance, before C2E2 announces their's, so it's just been coincidence that we've been the same weekend the last two years.  In 2019, we will not be; we're on April 12-14, 2019, again at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center.

We do have comics there, though as noted, it's not a comics show, as the amount of comics there is small in relation to the overall room.  A few dealers there specialize in them, but more will have a box or two or three at their table.  Several folks there do also have original comic art for sale.  You can see more photos from the show here:

Indeed, they moved C2E2 back to the much hated March dates for 2019 (29th-31st to be exact).  Reportedly overlaps with WonderCon and Planet Comicon, and if MLB keeps with this year's schedule pattern, will also conflict with my only religious holiday.  :frustrated:

Yorktown is an easy drive, so I'll plan to pop in next year and see what's what.
