Probably true, all the other stamped copies on ebay right now are 10d ones, but here is one I got locally recently: Also an 8d stamped copy of # 430. And Ethel has positioned the stamp on both the #317s within a couple of microns of each other. That's what years of experience can do for you.
  3. That prior book wasn't new, but this one is! Pretty cool cover with Spidey getting blasted. White Tiger makes an appearance, but it's a bigger book for the 1st appearance of Carrion! PPSSM #25:
  4. I am eagerly hoping that this movie is like one big, long, stressful episode of '24'. I'm super excited to see this on streaming.

  6. This show is interestingly slow to me. I enjoy it, but it definitely falls into the modern styling of super-slow pace sci-fi. It strikes me as odd that I'm into the 6th episode, and there's really no drastically combative personality conflicts. People get along, then they don't get along and they separate. I think it really stands out to me since I am simultaneously watching Battlestar Galactica and the differences in pacing and character development are 180 degrees apart.
  7. Nice to Sheldon up there and the crowd looks big from high up thanks for posting
  8. So, how do we want to continue from here? For at least a few weeks, I can take over the Sunday initial post for the week if people want me to do that.

  10. Gotta love it when a Lone Star box arrives in the morning! 3 new modern books arrived. First up is one for the Hobgoblin run, ASM #696. Man, McNiven really creepified both Hobgoblins for this run for covers! I'm in it for the Kingsley app (I'm just bypassing Phil for the moment) but it's a cool layout on this one: Next up is the 1st new Electro, Francine Frye (I love that name)! Any Ross cover is a darn good cover! Last up is a Hallows' Eve variant to #1 I picked up because it wasn't too much. Black Cat? I'm in!
  11. Cool Bruce Timm cover on that Heartthrobs book in the middle!
  12. So the vibe of the show was crowded, busy and the Bank of greggy was open for buying? Pics please.
  13. These three ending tonight. CRIME SMASHER #1, CGC 4.5 VG+ FIGHTING LEATHERNECKS #3, CGC 3.5 VG- SUPERMAN #51, CGC 1.0 FR

  15. Ok, Not the sexiest of ASM issues, but it's the 1st appearance of Red-9! Cool Spidey spotlight cover. He uses that flashlight more on the covers than he does in the books! I like the 1st app, plus with all of the Hobgoblin covers I have been getting some of the ones in between. I now have 19 between 259-289 (#20 on the way, stay tuned!). Here's ASM #264:
