Hi, all. I am back in the country for a couple of weeks and really need to pass along some of the modern age graded books I have accumulated. I have roughly 50 CGC-size boxes of books that need to move along to new homes. I don't expect I will get to them all this trip but thought I would give it a start. A lot of what I have can be found in my Registry set so if you see something you like in there, let me know and we can try to work something out. The registry can be found here: Rules are the usual, no probies, paypal for payments, shipping is $16 for 1-3 slabs but buy a bunch it I will likely pick up the cost, returns are accepted but they're graded books so don't buy unless you really want to keep it. For those that don't know me, I was an avid collector of everything from Platinum to Modern Age books and won the Verzyl Award one year before John died. I have a long history of selling expensive books in the GA forum and have a perfect legacy for successful sales. You can check my sales thread in the GA forum to see how things usually work. Questions? Just ask. Don't like a price, I'm open to offers but reserve the right to ignore things that are blatantly silly.

I’m curious if there is anyone in the Florence, Kentucky, region who might be interested in some long boxes of $1 modern books at maybe $0.50 each. It would have to be for pickup. Shipping wouldn’t make sense.

Well, amigos, with the exception of the very few things that haven’t sold and a few slabs still left from my earlier sale, this photo represents the last of my GA collection. All books submitted for grading, all books found to have been manipulated, even one from Metro with replaced staples. I had a falling out with them over other issues and never bothered to follow up on getting a refund. I’m going to retire these so they don’t trip up a future collector so they aren’t for sale. Kinda make me melancholy TBH. Thank you guys for buying so much so quickly. I wasn’t sure I wanted to do this but I’m glad I did. I will take some time in the morning to clean the thread up with SOLD! signs and provide a summary of what is still available. Adios for now.

Jungle Comics 128. The F/VF on the label looks right. Pretty sure I did not pay $120 for it but I made more than a couple of errors with prices I paid. $80 SOLD!

Jungle Comics 118, looks like a 6.0 but likely had Slightly Brittle pages. I learned a lot over the years about how PQ is the silent killer of value in GA books. If you buy raw, you would be well served to learn about it too. I had a nice looking Jungle Comics 16 that I bought from Harley and that Steve Borock told me looked like an 8.0. Ended up graded as a 3.0 Slightly Brittle. $30 SOLD!

These are US-printed copied of Jungle Comics intended for export to Mexico circa 1958. Also included is a small Kaanga comic. I would say these were well-loved in the tropics and have a great deal of spine wear. $50 for the lot. SOLD!

Forbidden Worlds 137, Diamond Run copy. 7.0 at best. Looks like it was unboarded in a long box at shows for a while. But here’s your chance to buy a piece of history that is no longer a pedigree. $15 SOLD!

Nice little copy of Mutt ands Jeff 56. Probably an 8.5-9.0 with a press but 6 without it due to the spine roll and some writing indentations on the cover. $40 SOLD!

I used to have a beautiful collection of Central Valley Lil Abner books. They were so bright and crisp, but this one was always my favorite Lil Abner book, L’il Abner and the Creatures from Drop-Outer Space. Produced for the Job Corps and still includes the mail in post card ( because what comic book reader wanted to join the job corps!?!?) Rough shape with a the subscription-like fold. $30 SOLD!

IW reprint, Sheena #9. I spent a lot of time tracking this down for my Fiction House collection but it had rusty staples. $20 SOLD!
