Well, I've got one for you guys, even if it is a minor one. I had 8 nice BA caps in the for sale thread on the cheap. They all sell in a lot except for the 227 which is bought by a poster by the name of NEXTLVL. He insists on paying by money order, which is no problem, but I thought it odd for a $4 book. After a month he never paid, even though I politely pm'd him about the book, which I saw that he did indeed read. Granted this is a $4 book, and I could care less about the money, I never make a profit on sales threads, in fact I always lose money, its usually for fun and to move things I just don't need, or for a few bucks gas money if I have bought too much that week. I have since given it away at my shipping expense to the person who bought the rest. The point is, this guy could really cause problems if he tries to buy any higher priced items from someone else. Once again, his handle is NEXTLVL and he is easily recognized by his illiterate posting style, which also leads me to believe he is really just a kid. I don't want anything from the guy, this is just a heads up to the rest of you.

Big kudos to BigHulkFan for the really nice midgrade Hulks!!!! His grading is excellent, his 6.0's are your typical ebay highgrades!!!! Also, some overdue kudos to Lizards2 for the nice SA Avengers. This is my second transaction with him and his grading is excellent, maybe even undergraded!!! Thanks to you both, it is sellers like this that make me shop ebay less and the forums more!!!!!

What is this from, and who drew it? Reminds me of Nestor Redondo. It is from a 1981 paperback version of the Flame Knife, the cover is posted on page 10 of this thread. It's full of artwork from someone named Estaban Maroto. Here is another one.

The Dark Horse series is actually what got me back into collecting after 22 years. Recently, I went into a LCS for fun and picked up a few issues and was sucked right back in. It inspired me to rebuild my bronze and silver age Marvel collection. It's funny because thanks to the internet silver age stuff is so readily available. When I was a kid, those comics had an almost magical quality to them as I could rarely locate anything from the silver age. Anyway, sorry for going off topic. I am currently on the hunt for a nice raw Conan #1, a comic I could only dream of owning when I was a kid.
