  1. Thanks, Tom. 54 was my last original issue. I've only had the other two 20 years. Paid $11 each for 'em. Quite a bit more than the 54.
  2. Finally got my last batch back. Here's a few of the better ones.
  3. As many books as you've posted lately, you probably exceeded your limit!
  4. What pic? I haven't sold any of my recently acquired ASMs Too weird! I looked at the recent posts on your ASM33 this afternoon, and there was no photo on any of them. Now its back.
  5. What happened to the pic, Nelson? You already sell it?
  6. To Fedoraman and others. My post above was an announcement of sorts, or an invitation to those here who might be interested. It was not my intent to sell my books on this thread. It is not appropriate. Please contact me via PM if you have interests. Thank you.
  7. Thanks Mac Man I'm aware of the rules. Since I'm not posting specific prices, I'm not supposed to use the FS forum. This is a courtesy post to people interested in these books. There are no other posts to this thread intended. I didn't know any other way to get the word out.
  8. I am pleased to offer the opportunity to board members to own any or all of these premium Spideys before they pass to an auction house. A quick check of the census or GPA will confirm their rarity. I am the original owner of each. Whatever else that may mean to you, be assured it also means I am not a desperate seller! My house and cars are all paid for. I am in the slow process of liquidating my collection and fully intend to sell each book at a price that reflects its full value. If you are looking for a hot deal or see an opportunity to flip one for a quick profit, please save your offers for someone else.. As there is no cost savings to me for combining books, there is no savings to be passed on. Therefore, each negotiation will be for a single book. All communication will be via PM or email and shall remain confidential. This is not an auction to the highest bidder, nor do I make any committment to sell any book. This is merely an invitation to pursue a transaction. I appreciate your interest, and if nothing else, enjoy the pretty pictures. One final request, while I do have other books to sell in the future, I do not have prepared price lists and scans nor the time to pursue specific sales at this time. I do not have books of this quality for any other titles. ASM38 9.4 OW-W ASM40 9.4 WHITE ASM41 9.4 WHITE ASM43 9.6 OW-W ASM45 9.4 WHITE ASM46 9.4 WHITE ASM47 9.6 OW-W ASM53 9.6 OW-W
  9. Many thanks to Count Chromium tofer118 3319 for fast payment. Your books are all on their way. HTL
  10. After Nik came thru, CGC only had one left for me......
  11. I'd like to thank the following for their purchases on my recent sales thread. All smooth transactions with quick pay and good communication DCman rza808 Foolkiller Davidnkym KenWho Here4Now Loki campued1010 Everything is shipped and on its way. Thanks all!
  12. Right back atcha hesdeadjim. Glad my book found such a deserving home.
  13. I'll be listing a few early Spidey slabs in an hour or so. Thread will run thru this evening. Stop by.
  14. Don't want this to be a sales pitch, but an advisory. Plan to put a few slabs 1-50 on tomorrow.
  15. Great books! But, at this rate you'll be done collecting in another couple of weeks,
  16. Thanks for the reply. I'll likely slab my better books above $100. Better value for me and the buyer. I'd really like to home in on the lower grade collectors for the lesser books. I'd rather sell an attractively priced run, than be cherry picked for one $25 book at a time. BTW, my 13 is low grade, but my 29 is NM. It's one of those I plan to submit. Thanks again.
  17. I'm new to these boards and have previously stated I'm in the liquidation phase of collecting. I paid the original 12 cents for most of my books. I've got some very nice books. I've also got a lot of books like you describe (well, no tape ) I'd love to pass them on to true collectors. but I have no idea how to reach them. I've searched for general threads and find little or no activity for many titles. My grading skills are poor in lower grades and I don't have the time to sell books $5-25 a pop and argue over grading! Can anyone offer suggestions? I'm sure my question better fits some other forum/thread, but I spend most of my time here. TIA
  18. Here's a couple other books I got back from CGC this week. Unlike some of the others I've posted, these came back with same grade I gave them. I do better on high end. Feel free to drool!
  19. FWIW, I just registered my Spidey 1-100 set under Joe's 100. I've got 1-100, but only 16 are slabbed. Still managed to rank #28! Pics are included.
  20. I would strongly agree that books with less than $100 should not be submitted...that's actually about borderline as your cost for slabbing will be at least $35/book... Post for starters issues 1-10 in the PGM-book Thread and we'll help with the grades and values...once the price is right for both seller and buyer, ASM always gets snapped up in 24-48 hours...especially for issues 1-50... 24-48 Hours? Make that 24-48 minutes, if that, especially if they are priced propperly. Spideys are typically good sellers in that range...just ask trmoore54, he's sold me quite a few in my collection...all his under coppies. I appreciate both your comments. I suppose "properly priced" is a relative issue. Proper to whom? While there are probably many interested buyers on these forums, the question is, is this the best place for ME to sell my books? I'll spend some time in the for sale forum for perspective. The PGM book thread is a great tool, and fun. I don't know the guidelines and do not wish to abuse the thread. How often or how many books is acceptable? As for ASM1-10, 7 are slabbed, some in transit back to me. They range from 3.5-8.5. I'll probably rescan and create a collection when they get here. That seems to be an efficient way. Again, thanks.
