  1. I finally finished my 1-24 run today! 24 was by far the hardest to find a decent copy at a fair price. I have all the other Eclipse books as well (Family, Apocrypha, 3d, Total Eclipse). I am not interested in any of the Spawn/Image stuff but was wondering if the Atomeka stuff or speakeasy are worth tracking down?
  2. When I was a kid in the 80's they used to travel through Kansas City and set up in the middle of the mall. I never had any idea of when they would be there so if I showed up and they were there it was like an early X-mas. It was a great time to be a kid! I still come across an old bag with their logo now and again. I actually saved one for a memento!
  3. Alpha Flight would have been X-Men 120-121 which was well after Hulk 181. I think there is an issue with just Vindicator before these AF issues if I remember the story correctly.
  4. Almoe, I see you have a couple of the same prints hanging up that I do (on the left next to the Harley Quin). I got those things from a JC penny's outlet when I was a little kid. They came in an envelope with like 6 of them in there. The one you have with the goblin on top wasn't in my set but I have the dock ock and the lizard ones though. Do you remember where you got yours and what ones were in it?
  5. Ciorac, Every time I look at your pics I see something new I missed before. You have me thinking I should install some cabinets over my desk now!
  6. Thanks bronzilla, I actually went on a hunt for a rack and it took me a while to find one that wasn't to beat up. I went to all the local flea markets and most I found were missing parts. I finally just happened to talk to a lady in the shop and she had this one in her basement. It brings back lots of good memories from when I was a kid even if it is rough on comics!
  7. Thanks for the nice comments guys. I have the mother-in-law custom made spidey curtains in those pictures I forgot to mention. I still can't believe she made those for me. Ciorac cool room for sure and I do the same thing. If I got all my stuff out at once I wouldn't be able to walk in to the room. Forgive my ignorance but are those all pulps on that first shelf? If so wow that is really cool. I have a buddy and we talk about trying to get in to them but the extra cash always goes to comics.
  8. Yes those contain all my comics that aren't crammed in to the closet. I actually got the idea to use the cabinets off a thread I read here a few years ago. They work great and make flipping through your books and filing new issues a breeze.
  9. Thanks! I have been enjoying this thread for a while now. Thought I would give it a little bump! I just need to pick up a 16 and I will have all the BWS issues complete.
  10. Here is a little run I have been working on for a while. Not super high grade but I love them!
