  1. Season 2 ended how I think Season 3 should have - Despair and hopelessness.

That's the one thing I felt after reading issue 48, just the reality of aloneness and desperation that was in place for them, but I didn't take away any of that, it was just a clean ending.

I did love the episode though, but I just wish more risks were taken, but I guess it's a million dollar franchise, so why would they drastically change too much. I still feel like Hershel should have died, I think that may have been enough for me personally. ALL the deaths were not really A league characters.

    My 2c

  2. I want it to end like this...

Andrea gets beheaded by the Governor, like what happened to Tyrese in the comics... But it would work for a few reasons; 1) Because Michonne cares about Andrea, and she cared for Tyrese in the comics too, so they could keep that aspect intact and, 2) She needs to go out with a bit of respect because right now, she ruins the show for me and irritates the hell out of me.

  3. I rememeber him mostly from Cliffhanger, with Stalone, and Slither, that was pretty gross lol

I didn't know he was in Sea of Love, I've got that DVD here that I need to watch still.

I was just watching Eight men out and the actor who plays Merle was in it. He was a in that movie too. lol

Michael Rooker's been in a ton of stuff.

He played the good guy in "The Replacement Killers", trying to protect his son.

He was in "Tombstone" , "Mississippi Burning" , "Sea of Love" and "Days of Thunder" and don't forget "Mallrats" lol

He broke out in "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer". I saw that flick in College and I wasn't able to shake that performance for a long time.

  4. I agree, but I'm betting a large population of Walking Dead fans aren't comic fans and don't even know what CGC is, or really understand the condition factor

It's impossible to explain it and it is a strange phenomenon.

I've seen a WD1 7.0 slab last week sell for $800. An 8.5 sold for $1,000. My 9.6 averages $1,200. Very strange indeed.

People are willing to spend $800 or more just to get a copy...Raw or slab.

Based on a 7.0 selling for $800...a 9.6 should be selling for well over 2k...9.8s over 3-4k

I can't explain it. Pricing is all over the place but not much sells below $800 for any grade (raw or slab)

Well, you said it yourself - there are two types of WD #1 buyers: the ones that want a 9.6 or a 9.8 and are willing to pay the premium, and the ones that just want a copy and aren't really concerned with the grade. That's why there's not much of a price difference amongst the lower grades.

There are a bunch of copper books that display the same characteristic ...

True but I don't understand someone paying $800 for a 7.0 CGC slab and then someone paying $1,100 for a 9.6. The price difference is odd.
