  10. Finally got my first two submissions back, Modern Fast track, and my goal in subbing Well after a long wait(and I mean long) I got two submissions back. The grades were pretty much what I thought I was going to get except for two. The grades where as follow: 2 Amazing Spider-man 583 first print Obama variant - both were 9.8's Amazing Spider-man 583 - 9.8 NYX #3 - 9.8 NYX #5 - 9.8 Qualified(It was signed by Joe Quesada Ultimatum #3 Sketch Variant - 9.8 Uncanny X-men #266 - 8.5 Astonishing X-men #1 Cassaday Variant - 9.2 Ultimate Power #1 Sketch Variant -9.6 those were the grades. The only two that I was upset with were the Astonishing X-men and the Ultimate power. They both looked like 9.8's to me when I sent them in but oh well thats why they get paid to grade comics and I don't. The Ultimate power I tried Modern fast track and I got it back the same day as the others that I submitted two months ahead. I just wanted to see how fast it would be since I had a little extra money on my hands. It took a week and a half from me mailing it to receiving it back. I think I might do more fast tracks from now on if. Now to my goal. I want to submit a 9.9 or 10! This is what I am going to start shooting for to find the right comic that can give me that magical number. Also I can't wait till I get my sketch from Andrew Magnum back. He drew a killer Magneto for me. I hope I get it before the Dallas Comic Convention in August so I can take a picture with him and the sketch. All in all I am so glad that this wait is over now I just got to wait on my sub that I sent in early june to get back to me. DatBoiC
  11. If you don't want to be worried about your submission's don't read the Chat Boards cause it will get you nervous!! There are few things in the world that have ever had me nervous and anxious. Now I can add a CGC submission wait time to that. About three weeks ago I decided that I was going to get some of my comics graded. I had spent weeks before researching how the process is and how much it will raise the value of the comics. Now three weeks later the shear wait of getting the books back is killing me inside. I know it's something that going to take a long time to get done and that I have to be patient but I am still anxious. The main thing that got me anxious is being on the chat board reading other people experiences of how their grading came out. A lot of people write about how their grading was so wrong compared to what CGC thought of their book. This got me worried about my Uncanny X-men #266 and one of the Amazing Spider-man 583 Obama first print variant that I submitted. I graded both to be around a 9.4 so I can't wait to see how my eyes are compared to trained professionals. But I think the sheer wait might get to me first before I see the books again. DatBoiC
