  1. My regular shop had a CGC 3.5 graded Mad #1 stolen the other day. Alternate Reality 5300 S. Eastern Blvd #130 Las Vegas, NV 89119 702-736-3673 Title - Mad #1 Grade - 3.5 Cert # - 4273099001 Notes - Spine Split bottom - Spine multiple creases - Staing to cover - Tears to cover No picture, but, the scumbag did try to sell it to another store. So, there is that.
  2. I just got one of the non-BOMC books in the mail today. Now to figure out where it came from. Nothing in the e-bay ad mentioned anything, but, it didn't have the price and mature warning on the back cover, so, I took a chance. Took a long time to get one, but, seems they (and the BOMC edition) are popping up more frequently lately.
  3. That's why I do all he bad things when I'm awake, since you are probably sleeping then.
  4. I'm still hunting for one of those non BOMC books. I thought I found one, but, it was a BOMC version. We (me and RMA) tried reaching out to BOMC to see if they could give us any info on the KJ books, but, we got no repsonse. Very interesting on the Year One book. So far we only found the Killing Joke BOMC
  5. I will, just been a messed up week, so haven't been on much.
  6. Back in April at the Las Vegas Amazing Comic Con, my nephew and I submitted a Last Ronin #1 sig series book (Eastman signing) using a 3rd party facilitator (Cosmic Comics in Las Vegas. I went to the store today and was told they were informed it could take another 6-7 months for the book to be returned. The CGC website shows turn around times as 30 days. Since it was submitted using a 3rd party, I do not have the order number. I only have the submission number from the submission form (2747267) What is the actual turn around time? Is it 30 days or so or 6-7 months? Any info you can provide would be appreciated.
  7. Only one I was really off on was the Popular comics. I hit it hard on the staining, obviously a little too hard. Popular Comics #66 - 3.0 (4.5) -3 Archie Comics #39 - 7.0 (7.0) 0 Thing #15 - 4.5 (5.0) -1 Incredible Hulk #5 - 2.0 (1.5) -1 Marvel Spotlight #10 - 8.5 (8.0) -1
  8. I've been trying to hunt down one of those 4th printing that does not have the BOMC text on the inside cover. No luck so far. Not sure where that book comes from, as i can fond no info on it.
  9. Iron Man 1-332 plus annuals. Took me a long time to get there, but, i got there.
  10. I would imagine that it was because that was the 25th anniversary of Harley Quinn. Still seems odd since she has nothing to do with the story.

It, like the BOMC edition has no price or mature reader warning on the back. It does not have the BOMC text on the inside cover. There is no idea of where this book came from, so, if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Foreign Editions Arabic (Egypt) Argentina Brazil (2 versions) Bulgaria (Only found pics of 2 Hardcover) Writing at top of cover different between the two covers China (Only found pics of 2 Hardcover) Croatia (2 different versions) Czech Czechia (Hardcover) Denmark (1 Paperback) Denmark (1 Hardcover) Finland France (4 paperback) (There are also 3 Hardcover – not pictured) Georgia Germany (4 Paperback) (At least 1 Hardcover – not pictured) Greece – (Think this one is a Hardcover due to the Tim Burton comments at upper left corner) Hungary Italy – Orange Title Italy – Green Title Japan Korea (1 Hardcover) Mexico El Quinto Mundo Convention Edition La Mole Convention Edition Netherlands Norway Peru Poland (1 Paperback) Poland (1 Hardcover) Portugal Romania (1 Hardcover) Russia (1 Hardcover) Serbia (2 Paperback) Serbia (1 Hardcover) Slovakia (1 Hardcover) Sweden Turkey Spain (6 different editions) This one is 172 pages. Belgium Canada Fan Expo Show Chile Other helpful Information due to inaccurate descriptions on E-Bay (This applies mainly to US and UK editions) 1. First print is green and only green. If it is not green it cannot be a 1st Printing. There is no Newsstand edition of the 1st print. 2. Printings that have UPC stickers placed on them are not Newsstand Editions. As of now, only 6th, 11th, and 13th printings are they only ones with verified Newsstand Editions. 3. There is no Brian Bolland Variant. He was the artist, and only artist, to draw the covers on the 1st thru 14th printings. 4. Hardcovers will not be graded by CGC, so, any listing saying to "CGC IT" is WRONG. 5. There are no "color" variants. Ink levels dropped during printing, so, some covers are lighter than others. 6. 2nd Printing is Pink, not Orange. 7. 6th Printing is Dark Orange, not Red. 8. 3rd, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th prints are all Yellow. You can tell the differences by looking for certain things A. 3rd Print is the only one that costs $3.50 and does not have the Mature Reader warning on the back cover. No UPC B. 7th print cover price is also $3.50, but, has the Mature Reader warning on the back cover. No UPC C. 10th and 11th printings have the ISBN number on the lower left front corner. Both have cover price of $4.95 D. 10th print has the same UPC code as the 9th print (7 61941 20212 00119) E. 11th print UPC is 7 61941 20212 00121 F. 12th and 13th print cover price is $5.95 G. 12th print UPC code is 7 61941 20212 00122. 13th print UPC code is 7 61941 20212 00124 9. Unless someone has print numbers, no, one really knows which is the rarest print. Just because a listing says so, does not make it true. Many listings for the 9th print claim it is the rarest. Again, no one knows if this is true right now. 10. CGC grades this book hard. Pay close attention for scratches and finger prints on the back cover. This will drop the grade regardless of what the front looks like. I hope this helps everyone that is shopping for these books. Good Luck!
  12. Good round for me, but, not enough to move up much higher Wow #1 - 5.0 (5.0) 0 Action Comics #253 - 4.0 (4.0) 0 Avengers #48 - 7.0 (8.5) +3 X-Men #107 - 8.0 (9.0) +2 Star Wars #68 - 9.2 (9.4) +1
  13. If Greggy is not your hero, he should be. Plus, I hear he smells like Strawberry Shortcake. Interpret that as you wish.
  14. At Amazing Comic Con Las Vegas, Red Hood Comics had a DD #1 graded 9.8. It apparently came from that Detroit collection. It was absolutely amazing. I should have gotten a pic of it, but, i wasn't thinking. Only 3 graded that high. They said they were offered $550k for it and turned it down.
  15. I would guess cancel culture won't affect this book. How many of those people are reading 35 year old comics anyways? Prices on these books has been relatively flat for several years now. Unless they come out with a Batman movie based on this book, I don't really see it moving in either direction.
