One other thing I noticed - if you select ship under my self-insured FedEx account, a shipping charge for FedEx shipping is still being calculated during checkout. Perhaps this should be a separate option (rather than a subsection under the FedEx shipping option) with no cost so it calculates customer totals correctly? Looking pretty good otherwise. I'm going to look into this right now! When I used the new form last week, it was still producing a shipping charge when I selected my self-insured FedEx account for return shipping. I like the new forms, but I can't use them until this feature gets fixed.

Unfortunately, I foresee this being a long, arduous process that may not resolve completely in your favor. Your options are either find a completed sale on eBay or another site for the book in the same grade or perhaps an appraisal from a dealer would suffice. Either way, I think USPS will try to give you a hard time regarding the proof of value under these circumstances because they suck. Sorry this happened. It won't help in this situation, but a personal Collectibles Insurance policy would be much easier to collect from than USPS.

When the 1st prints finally arrive, aren't they going to be devalued anyway because of the sticker the publisher is adding to them? Seems like the 2nd print might be the one to have since it A) came out first and B) won't have a sticker.

I'm a collector and have/do order 6-8 copies of certain titles to keep in my collection. Might I sell them at some point in the future? Maybe, maybe not. If I do, I likely won't get anywhere near what I'm paying for them even with the 40% discount. I haven't gotten one of these emails from DCBS as of yet, but if I did it might lead me to move my business elsewhere, especially if they were dismissive of my response.

As my signature would suggest, I'm a huge Runaways fan and would like to add some original art to my collection. Any pages by Adrian Alphona or Sara Pichelli would be tops on my list, but I'm willing to consider pages from other artists as well. I would also be interested in original cover art. My PM is always open!

Just tried out the form. I like it overall, very smooth and the automation is great. Some feedback: 1) My membership discount was not applied during checkout. Are there plans to fix this going forward? I can't see a lot of folks using the new form if their discount won't be applied. 2) Would it be possible to add an option for Signature Series to the online form for those who work with facilitators and want to submit books on their own CGC account? It's been said that the reason Signature Series form were taken offline is because people had a hard time filling them out. It would seem that the automation built into this new form should eliminate that.
