  1. I've been wanting to show off my collection in my office. Unfortunately, I haven't been successful in getting my office into a state I would be proud to have people look at. Recently, my wife surprised me with a display case to keep in our dining room where I can display some of my collection. I love the display case she picked out and I plan to rotate out the items in the display every couple of months. So, hopefully, this is interesting to some of you. Top Shelf - Left to right. 1. Holo-foil Optimus Prime Trading card. 2. First issue of Transformers. 3. MasterPiece Optimus Prime action figure. 4. Last issue of Transformers signed by a ton of people who've work on the series through out the years. 5. Generations Cosmos action figure. 6. 3D printed Energon Cubes. Middle Shelf - 1. Boxed Transformers Generation 2 Optimus Prime. Bottom Shelf. 1. The rest of MasterPiece Optimus Prime... Trailer, Spike.
  2. Just published a video of my ECCC with four artist interviews. It's Transformers heavy. You've been warned.
  3. I really like this idea. Not something you see every day. Nice work.
  4. Hey thanks. Cool. I'm looking forward to reading them. Sounds like I don't need to break my back trying to collect everything.
  5. Well, I could use some help. I've recently started reading Robert E. Howard's Conan stories. Today while in a thrift store I found 30 Marvel Magazine Conan comics. So my first question is: Are these anything? I'm stoked to read them because they should provide great D&D inspiration. My second question: How do I care for these? I normally get Mylites for my comics. Do Mylites come in this large size? Anything else I should know?
  6. From Transformers: Regeneration One. Issue 83 Page 21. Andrew Wildman and Stephen Baskerville.
  7. whoa, impressive. No blogspot. Just a blog.
  8. I commissioned Livio Ramondelli to do this Sketch cover homaging The TSR., Dungeons & Dragons red box art by Larry Elmore. I picked it up at ECCC this last weekend. I had Livio replace the fighter in the original art with Grimlock and put in some items from the G1 run as part of the dragon's treasure. I also video taped an interview with Livio about working on this piece. If there are no objections, I'll repost the art along with the video once I have it edited.
  9. It's crazy how much I'm looking forward to this con. I'm taking the train down tomorrow (Friday). I have a commission from Livio Ramondelli I'll be picking up. I sent him a book to draw on two months ago. He finished it up early and sent me a pic of the completed work and I couldn't be more happy with it. I'm also planning on doing an interview with him while I'm at the convention. I might wait to post the commission until I have the interview edited just so I can post them here together. In addition, I'm taking two blank sketch covers with me to ECCC. But, I have no clue who (if anyone), I'll ask to work on them. So in that line of thinking. Totally open to talk about suggestions.
  10. Hello Everyone, I'm new to the thread. I started collecting OA three years ago. I don't have many pieces to show off, but what I do have I am very happy with. I'll start by showing off the first piece of OA I ever purchased. This is a piece of Derek Yaniger art from Marvel's Transformers: Generation 2. Issue 2, page 4.
  11. I'm taking the Trian down from Bellingham on Friday. Just saying in the off chance anyone else going to the convention is also doing the same thing.
  12. Thank you mschmidt, That would be great to get them back before the end of the con. But I'm totally cool with them being mailed to me also. Any idea what I would be paying per modern book with a limited edition cover?
  13. I'm not sure where I should post this question. If i should post it somewhere else I'll delete it from here and ask it where I should. Is there any search on the web I can use to find out what new blank sketch covers are coming out from one month to the next?
  14. I've never used the CGC service before and so I have pretty newbie question. I read on twitter that CGC will be offering on-site grading at ECCC. I have four books I would like to have graded/slabbed. Can someone tell me what I can expect from my visit at the CGC booth? Will they grade and slab my books on site. Or will i pay a fee, learn the grade and then they will ship them off to be slabbed? What do you all think I can expect from this?
  15. At ECCC I'l be doing interviews for the TransMisisons podcast. On a personal note, I hope to go to the CGC booth and send four books off to be graded. I would also love to find a decent copy of Amazing Spider-Man issue 33.
  16. I recently picked up an identical spinner rack too. However, It's been spray painted neon green! I found a local place that can repaint it the original color though. I'll be doing that soon.
  17. At TFCon 2016 Chicago, I commissioned this piece from Andrew Griffith. He recently finished it and I got it in the mail today.
