Before the movie, we hit a LCS for Free Comic Book Day and bought a few things. The highlight for me though was seeing this as one of the freebies from @Crimebuster ... it looks really good!
I can't take credit for this one, but it is pretty good! There's a company up in Canada that used to be called Chapter House that re-branded themselves as Lev Gleason, and they are reviving all the old Lev Gleason characters, but in the same universe as Captain Canuck. They've put out a few things that I liked, but they've been hit with a lot of delays -- this issue was originally solicited back in the fall of 2021 as part of a series that never happened. I hope they follow through with the Crimebuster mimi-series teased in the FCBD issue, but we'll see if it ever comes out!

Right on man!Wishing you the greatest as always!Congratulations
Thanks very much, I really appreciate the support! I'm hoping in the next two weeks to announce the Kickstarter launch date for #2, and hopefully I'll also have the Boy Comics #121 variant cover done soon to show off. We'll see how it goes!

That was a beautiful tribute to your dad. He was a special man, always there for those who needed him.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Scott.

Will you be offering any copies of issue #1 for sale on the boards?
I thought I had more time to make a Kickstarter pledge. I got shut out.
Once I have the comics in hand, I'll be setting up some kind of online store to sell copies! I'm not quite sure yet exactly how it will work, but I can drop you a PM once the books are in hand and I can sell you a copy (or copies) directly. Or I can do a thread in the Modern sales section.
The only version I won't have available is the Kickstarter Exclusive Legacy Variant Cover - which is the homage to Flash #92 - since that version was for Kickstarter only. But I will have a few copies of that left, so if you had your heart set on it, when I do the Kickstarter for #2 (hopefully in January) I'll be offering a very limited reward with the Kickstarter Exclusive Legacy Variants for both #1+2 in a package deal.
For the other versions, it's $8 (plus $5 shipping to the US) for the regular cover, or $13 each (+$5 shipping) for the three variants - the Boy Comics variant, the Trixie's Mysteries variant, and the blank sketch variant. Or $50 (plus shipping) for a sketch cover with an actual sketch on it!
I should have the books in hand by the end of the month (I think!) so I can PM you when they arrive.
Thanks for the interest!

Thank you for taking me behind the scenes to see the processes involved in creating this. The concept is wonderful, and I am eagerly awaiting each update. Trixie is an inspired choice for a new character.
Thanks for the kind words! I've been under the weather the last few weeks, so my updates have slowed down, but I am still plugging away. I am hoping to have the whole book finished within the next 4 week, with the idea of bringing it to Kickstarter by the end of May to get it published.
Sorry for the delay in responding as well - for some reason, I didn't get any notification that I had a comment, so I thought I was just shouting into the void here.
My new comic Quest #2 is coming in two weeks!
