  1. Upgrade for my 9.4...I first found out about this title in the early 80s and got this issue at a flea market and was my first introduction to the series...Great stories in this ish!
  2. That book is a running joke in our family. I need to post my 9.6 of that book when I get the chance. ! Best...story...ever. I can't look at bunnies anymore. They are EVIL!!!
  3. I love the "earthy" tones to these late silver twelve centers...seems pretty consistent along all of the horror titles within that year period or so.
  4. Doing good...my company is being purchased so the future is again "uncertain"...isn't life just one party after another.
  5. Just saw the book---it actually almost looks like a 9.8. I'm halfway sarcastic b/c I'm seeing 9.8s pop up that I flat out disagree with...and unfortunately it's coming up on a more frequent basis. Well, now that 9.8s are here, maybe we'll get some decent prices for the 9.6s. I'll throw in a thrill bid but don't mind the first buyer to pay the premium so I can get discounts in the future. IMO Swamp Thing is over-rated (but the story here is nothing short of FANTASTIC) but I'll eventually snag a 9.8 of this issue for my collection one day. It may not be this issue or this day, but my day will come Hope everyone is doing good...I haven't logged in here for several months.
  6. Witching Hours are part of my "core" collection and I love those Cardy covers. I still can't believe I haven't completed one of my core titles yet.
  7. Hey...I noticed they are selling pint TWD mugs and Ts...anyone order any?
  8. Unless there are tire marks on the package, this type of due dillegence and customer service is unacceptable.
  9. Personally, I always use oversized boxes, lots of bubble wrap/peanuts so unless the box gets run over by a a truck it "Should" remain safe. May cost a little more but I've never received a problem shipping like this. Peace of mind for both me AND the buyer.
  10. Yeah so far it seems to be a buildup, although look what crawled into Rick's bed...
  11. Wow. This has all of the hallmark markings of being a nice documentary although most definitely an eyesore to the hobby.
  12. Happy New Year Horror Fiends! After a disappointing year in 2010 I hope I can methodically move forward towards my core DC set completion this year.
  13. Thanks for showing the scan. I think I remember this book now; nice! Show us your 9.4 too. My 9.4 is really pretty IIRC; I don't think there's any miswrap. Sad no one else has responded in 5 days since you posted the book...man it's deader than dead .
  14. I didn't want to start running up your competition, but seeing as (I think) it already sold... http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch.asp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Dhouse%2Bof%2Bmystery%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26ItemType%3DCB%26pg%3D2&id=854891 Hey, does anyone know who bought it?
  15. Oh, there you are Perry! I just noticed that the other day. I'll be participating much more in the near future...2010 was a dark time for me collection wise and want to go back to having fun!
  16. That would be an interesting perspective, for sure! I think Kirkman was going a little nuts on the character destruction during that plot!!
  17. Merle was his NAME-o. No idea why they are calling zombies geeks. I suspect we will hear a lot of crazy names that folks give them over time.
  18. The velocity and veracity in which this scene transpired contrasted to the very slow and methodical drama element in the story. These zombies looked extra spooky at night...when I saw the shadow from Ed's tent I got shudders....
  19. I suspect we will get some glimpses for sure before end of season.
  20. I know what you mean, I expect undead hordes clamoring for my flesh, who are strong enough to rip through my skull to be sedate and calm. Im just saying, they were not that aggressive in the comic, if they were those fences at the prison would have come down eventually It's one of many refinements that I think enhance the show. How they are interweaving new characters and subplots into the overall arch is very cool.
  21. Now that's a sketch The Red Hook "Legend of the Robin Corner Shock Pose" lives on!
  22. I haven't sold (literally) on eBay in years...thanks for the confirmation that it the trend is likely to continue.
  23. Oh yeah I forgot...I think I was 2nd runner up...my bid for it will be less and less as it comes up.
