Post your Garage Sale/Flea Market/Antique Mall Finds Here

Maybe the market is starting to panic I have been swamped with 'wanted to buy' responses from sellers. Those 4 short boxes of horror above were very reasonable. I'm picking up 11 longs and 6 shorts on Saturday, plus 3 other people want to have a total sell-off. Maybe the markets finally turning into a buyers one - at least for low level non-blue chip stuff anyway. All Bronze Copper and Modern it should be noted. Similar in USA now? -

Tudyk is such an under-rated actor. From Knights Tale to Firefly - the guy always delivers -

Greatest Non-Hero Supporting Characters of All-Time
Beige replied to Krydel4's topic in Comics General
I'd swap Jones for Jameson. Alfred Pennyworth Lois Lane Mary-Jane Watson J Jonah Jameson Rick Jones Jimmy Olsen, whilst a definite contender, had too many episodes of gaining 'powers' - so I reckon he would be ineligible. The same goes for Flash Thompson, as he became Venom. -

Alfred by a mile. Always there in the Comic medium Alan Napier in the 1960's show Sean Pertwee on TV (Gotham) Michael Caine in the Movies It was always Batman, Robin and Alfred as the main characters in 90% of Batman stuff. Batman #16 was on my to buy list. I just got one. -
Saw them on the back of many a Warren Magazine - so did anyone actually buy one - and if so, got any pics of you playing Boomer or Starbuck out in the woods!

Is it just me, or is it a quiet month for sales? I normally do around 150 per month. So far in Feb - 43 I've run sales, dropped prices, but the whole market, except for 'movie' books, seems very flat. Thats in Australia - so USA? Same or better? -
It's that time of year again, when I do my insurance values for the next 6 months premium. I have a CGC 1.5 Detective Comics #36 - I cannot see any 'new' sales on GPA, so does anyone have any private sales info to establish a 'replacement value' for insurance. If you wish to PM - no problems, and any info will remain confidential of you wish. Thanks!

My biggest issue with this is the 'sealed' bit. You can get a VHS resealed in seconds with a machine that you can find anywhere. How do grade a 'sealed' VHS? I get the 'rule of 25' on this - I loved some of those films - but there seem to be a high number of 'sealed unused' classic movie VHS tapes 'found' recently. I'm highly dubious about the whole thing. I do love laserdiscs though - especially as you can now buy replacement lasers very easily

As I am watching in 'real-time' order - just watched Black Widow It sat between Avengers - Civil War and Season 3 of SHIELD Ep #20 Watching in 'real-time' really makes all the movies and TV stuff much better tbh - lots of little easter eggs and seamless integration of the unfolding MCU It's really enjoyable

The movie itself - not as bad as I expected - it was pretty much James Bond in Spandex with an extra topping of double cheese.

https://pages.ebay.com.au/payment/2.0/terms.html Fees are going up - varies region to region. Ones I have noticed: Store monthly fee, fixed fee per sale, % fee per sale, chargeback fee.... Many more. Not great timing - but again, there is zero competition. If I want to reach the most buyers in Australia, there is no other format that comes close.

The label is bland, and the grading sketchy at times, but Halo certainly has the best cases. You could drive a damn tank over them, and they wouldn't break or split open. If they improved their standards of consistency I can see them growing very nicely in Australia ,New Zealand and SE Asia. Fair bit of business to be had in this neck of the woods.

You are correct, I did mean to change that but forgot - 'in the style of' would be better. I was suprised to find it over here tbh. -

No issue #1 sadly - but there was also a #4 with the Ramos Variant cover. The other 6 boxes were: 2 full of Heavy Metal mags x 110 issues 4 full of Manga / Anime - which I still trying to make some semblance of order out of. -

And for more fun... Don't ask me why the 1st 2 are going for $200+ in 9.8 - cause I don't know. The last - obscure Kirby title. These boxes keep on giving.
