  1. A great artist and a great guy , he will be missed.
  2. I have a guy that wants to buy any Azrael art in tbe Azbat costume. So he spread out over multiple issues of Knightfall or other spin-off issues. Also color guides and perhaps some sketches as well depending on the content. Please contact me if you have some of this material to sell. Thank you.

  10. I have a nice page up on ebay now from Butch Guice/ and Steve Leialoha an UNCANNY X-MEN #217 Original Marvel Comic Art with DAZZLER and JUGGERERNAUT (signed by both artist and inker) in great shape. Maybe some of the members are interested. And a good page from Daredevil #238 by Sal Buscema and Steve Leialoha with Sabretooth in action and signed by the inker. Both under the seller name : davekarlen Thanks for looking!
  11. Sorry I missed out on this event. Maybe I can catch it next time, but thanks for all the photos!
  12. I have this Sgt. Rock Special page by Doug Wildey that has a homage to Lone Wolf and Cub, or at least that is what the seller was telling me. But I thought it was a nice page anyway.
  13. I have a twice-up page from ALEX TOTH Four Color #845 ,a fantastic Dell page from 1957 of "The Land Unknown" adaptation of the science fiction movie starring Jock Mahoney. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18.5" and signed by the comic master! Asking $1600.
  14. I sold the Steve Roper piece on eBay, it was consigned. I knew of the Lichtenstein connection and put it in the listing. I thought it was a good price for a Roper even if it was used by Lichtenstein, and the consignor was pleased. Maybe if I did it again I would do it differently, but hindsight is 20/20.

  18. Thanks for all the great pictures, very informative for guys who don't get to travel much.
  19. A great artist gone way too soon. He will be missed.
  20. Fantastic report on an important British artist. Thank you!
  21. Another one that come to mind is DC Tarzan pages attributed to Joe Kubert, really done by a Filipino artist. He did the roughs for most issues, but they were on separate sheets he sent to those artists. I don't think he did any penciling on the original pages, but did do corrections in ink after if need be, being the editor on those ERB books.
  22. I really have a hard time with a signature inside the body of a page. The borders are okay for me if it's not too large and distracting, please no sharpies!
  23. It seems to happen often with romance art, like when Win Mortimer is claimed to be J. Scott Pike. Granted it is harder to find out the correct artist on the DC issues, but it's always a claim of a better artist over a lesser one.
