TRUE CRIME Magazine V.1 #1 July 1936 6.5 ow pages Some partially erased pencil under title, small color pull title. Pulp format, printed without overhang. A hybrid of the typically larger sized and slicker true crime magazines of the era, and the thicker pulp magazines which specialized in fiction. Mostly true crime content, but includes two "novelettes". Classic "White Slavery" cover. Only two issues were published by Martin Goodman's Western Fiction Publishing, which would become "Red Circle" pulps. $1000 $900

GINGER V.2 #3 March 1936 CGC 6.5 cream-ow pages Unsigned but the cover looks to be by George Quintana (others have thought maybe Enoch Bolles, their styles were similar) Ginger was a short lived risque girlie magazine from 1935 and 1936 known for its nearly nude and nude covers. This is one of the more desirable issues, as little is left hidden. $2000 $1800

Look at the areas of black where the white should be overlaid. The edges where the red 300s meet the black background clearly have black marker distorting the smooth curves. It looks to me like someone carefully filled in the white webbing and lettering that was over black with a black marker, though they missed the interiors of the 300 at the top right. Further evidence is at the top where there are black marks on the thin white strip and various places where the marker didn't completely cover the white webbing and the path can faintly be seen, as above the RM in the logo. This is likely why despite the "small amount" of color touch notation, the grade box say "slight/mod"
