  1. I add my contribution to this thread by saying that I also recently discovered Collectorz and it's bringing me back to the comic books world. I have been an avid comic book reader for my entire life, but I stopped buying and collecting some years ago. I was tired of all the relaunches, the new titles, etc. It was difficult to keep track of everything.

Collectorz makes it so easy to add comics and follow a series! I have scanned all my comics in few minutes using their iPhone app, and now I am having fun going through my collection with the web-based software, and I can finally see any gap in the collection, all titles and series, etc.

    It's a lot of fun.

  2. I would like to follow-up on this thread and ask whether your opinion has changed and if you guys have new recommendations.

I am particularly interested in online services that allow you to monitor your pull-list online, make changes every week (if you want) and that do not require pre-orders from Previews.

  3. I wonder if Steve Ditko is living a good life or whether he has money problems. He has isolated himself right after his Marvel times and surely enough, he left the game before it became profitable as it is today.

  4. ....it's only stupid when you DON'T ask. My exception with CGC books.... when I will leave them IN the slab, is if I'm unsure if I can afford to keep it, or if the book is scarce AND top census. I generally go after 6.0 to 9.0 books and am confident I can take good care of them raw. At 9.2 and up, I'd probably leave it slabbed, as one slip of the hand can really hurt it. GOD BLESS...

Uh! This approach totally makes sense. 9.0 and under books do not seem to be super premium priced and you still get a great reading and collecting copy of an issue that you can feel confident cracking open and store in mylar.
