  1. I'm curious in the outcome if you care to share with the rest of us.
  2. When May was interviewing the Creamator, she came in and asked May to call her mom and that she was cold I always forget that FCBD had an original story in it. The FCBD story is included the trade for Revival. Edit - I noticed someone has already pointed this out.
  3. Yes, you are right, they are worth $50,000. Congrats. Haha...no matter how much the 10 would get in a live auction, I would be tempted to keep it in my PC, unless I was offered a price that would be stupid not to accept.
  4. Haha it's fine. It was my mistake.
  5. Well, that sucks about the rip-off. I was looking forward to seeing Revival in an actual show, and not just for speculating.
  6. Holy cow, is this for real? The only person who has said that is Mashed Potatoes. I'm not sure if anybody can back that up I listened to the same interview and Hickman definitely said the print run is 3x anything he's ever done with Image. Not a surprise given the cover of previews and those who are speculating heavily on the title. But does that mean 54k? He could have just said 3x without meaning actual numbers. Either way that sounds like at least 45k. If it is 54K or 45K, either way it is a lot. Who knows if Hickman was being literal. I think he was because he quantified it with the 3x comments. He did not say "a lot more" or "double" or "multiple times over". Hickman's exact quote was "we sold more of that...orders for that were over three times more than anything I did with Image" and "store owners are obviously excited to sell it because they ordered a s*$t load of them". But saying the 3x is referring to the number of the Saga print run wouldn't be right. Saga was actually Hickman's, so if he said "more than anything I did with Image," couldn't that mean the comics he actually did? What I mean is that Saga is credited to Vaughan and Staples, while EofW is credited to Hickman. If that's so, then him saying 3x doesn't mean 3x the number of the Saga print run. Saga's print run was 37K, but has nothing to do with this conversation. Hickman's latest work with Image was Manhattan Projects, which was close to 18K for issue #1 in March of last year (if memory serves me right). 18K times 3 = 54K. I see...I was referring to when you had mentioned Saga in your earlier post, but I had gotten it mixed up with what you were talking about with investing in Saga.

  8. Could somebody tell me what the "rip-off news" is?

It's all these people ordering a crazy amount who is going to regret it.

  12. I was talking about raw. I haven't kept up with slabbed prices.
  13. How has the regular #1 taken a hit? It's always sold in the $30-40 range, and it's still going for that rate.
  14. I'm ready for the next issue. Anybody know the release date?
  15. So you're pretty much saying that no matter how great a story is (Nowhere Men) you'll stop reading if there are multiple covers? Read comics because you enjoy them. If you enjoy them, it shouldn't matter about covers and variants unless you're only in for flipping. I have to say, I agree with GodofThunder. I was going to add this series to my monthly pull list until the variants popped up. I've pretty much decided not to support monthly titles with variants. That's me voting with my wallet. I may check out the eventual TPB, but I won't be collecting the floppies. I guess I see that perspective if you have to own every single print of every issue. But if you want to actually enjoy a good read for what it is, I don't think the print run or the number of variants should matter. I know it can take a lot of money to get every cover, but not if you just get the regular print.

  17. Am I missing something? The most recent 1-3 sold BIN at $80. The #1 issues are going by themselves $30-40. That seems around the same price they were a couple months ago. If there's a price drop, it's miniscule.
  18. If? No, no, no, sir. It will. This title is just so damned good. I will say I wasn't sold on it after the first two issues. But issue 3 nailed it for me. I love it so much, I went wild getting thought bubble variants yesterday on the selling forum. I might end up regretting it, but I'm a believer. +1 This title is an awesome read
  19. Buy what you want...don't buy what you don't want. Who cares about variants? There are collectors out there who don't like them, and there are collectors out there who have to have them. I didn't start reading Bedlam until issue #3, and I had no trouble finding the regular cover first issue. Everyone keeps talking about readers being confused about which was the true #1. Pick whatever one you like best and buy it.
  20. No, but now I'm curious. Hahahaha...I kept opening each spoiler and expecting something big each time. Sorry just having some fun. Don't look around for it though. Don't ruin the ending for yourself. Someone here posted last season's mid season finale shocker in the thread without spoilers and I can tell you that it totally ruined the experience of the show for me. Save the surprise for when you see in on screen. It sucks otherwise. Yeah, that's what I'll do. There's only two more shows, so I have enough patience.

  22. Thanks, guys. I guess I'll keep an eye out.
  23. I'll probably be a little disappointed if the Governor doesn't die by the finale.
