  1. I just bought a 2.0 for $3200. If the rest of the book is consistent with what is shown in the picture, and there is no restoration; I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
  2. After months of waiting for a 2.0 or 2.5 to come to auction, I finally won what I was looking for! This almost completes my silver age key collection, and has been by far the toughest one.
  3. Neat Pence Copy! That is a major rarity!
  4. Really? A 2.0 went for $4263? I missed that one. Anyways, as you know, I will be a proud member of the Hulk 1 club as soon as this ebay 2.0 Arrives!! WOOHOO!! This has by far been the toughest of the marvel keys for me to find in the grade I want.
  5. I was the buyer of that book. :-) Yes, it was a strong price, but I have been waiting 6 months to find a decent low grade example at auction, and prices have just been through the roof. The last few sales 1.8 sold for $3600 recently.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-1962-1999-1st-Series-1-CGC-1-8-1156876004-/310757348240?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item485a94d390 and a 2.5 went for $4000 on C-Link http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch%2Easp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Dincredible%2Bhulk%2B1%26ItemType%3DCB%26x%3D0%26y%3D0&id=973801
  6. Thanks for the kind responses all! It does seem that the consensus is that it is strong for the grade, which is usually what I go for in purchases. The stain is obviously the main detractor. Their are some more pictures here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7156645#Post7156645
  7. Nice buy. If you were ever to sell it, given that it is complete I could see $1200 on it all day(at least that is what I would pay). Pretty nice profit over the $505!
  8. The pride and joy of my collection :-)
  9. I am 32 years old. Collected and read spiderman when I was in my teens, and just got back into comics about 6 months ago. Now I am completely hooked, and putting together lower grade key collections.
  10. Just here to join in with my low grade offering! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  11. Here is my low grade membership offering. Part of the Club Now!!
  12. I really envy your beautiful 2.5 nismo!! That is exactly what I am looking for, trying to find something in the 1.8-2.5 range with decent eye appeal. I am having a really hard time finding one for a decent price other than these astronomical BIN ebay examples. If I can find one for GPA, I will be happy...I'd appreciate a PM if anyone knows of one for sale.
