  1. Just watched this week's episode. Hmmm...so Zoom gave a big speech about planning the use of and killing of the other Jay, saying he convinced him to let himself be killed...was that a lie?

I ask because when Zoom killed Jay, the show later (end episode 15) showed Zoom's reaction, which included him taking off his mask and saying, woebegone, "This… is a complication." Seemingly the intent of the scene was to indicate it was a mistake that he killed Jay, though it was a big who-is-Zoom reveal at the same time obviously.

    Plot hole...or???

  2. Robert Downey Jr. Joins The Cast Of Spider-Man Homecoming

According to reports from THR, Captain America: Civil War actor Robert Downey Jr. has finalized talks to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

In Captain America: Civil War, Tony seems to form a more mentor-like role for Spidey, and that dynamic will be picked up again in Spider-Man's solo outings. The film has already cast its Aunt May with actress Marisa Tomei and includes Zendaya and Tony Revolori in unnamed roles.

"However, Downey Jr. only agreed to appear in the film if they changed the name to 'The Spectacular Spiderman', as they had originally trial ballooned, causing CGC boardies who will remain unnamed to buy Spectacular Spiderman #1 9.8."

Interesting how all of the people I've had problems with ALWAYS have zero negative feedback.

327 positive feedbacks. (edit: actually 787 positive overall, 327 last 12 months)

Anyhoo, won at auction a $40-something dollar book from me many weeks ago, hits me with "I'm on vacation will pay when I'm back" and "there is no service here", and then disappears entirely.

I just hit him with an unpaid case, so I'm guessing another excuse is imminent.

lol if he was able to message you then he definitely could have paid

Funny, I was thinking the same thing :)

He can message me three or four times, but can't hit the pay button?

Methinks BS is in the air...

  5. 'coasttocoastcomics' is selling bad books on Ebay. Bought a listing that was stated as a '9.8' received the book and it was at best a 9.0-9.2. I contacted the seller immediately and told him what the issue was. He offered a partial refund which is a joke. I refused and said I wanted to return the book for a full refund. He initiated the return process. I returned the book and once tracking showed the book was in the sellers hands a claim was put in against me that stated I destroyed the book. Ebay for some reason immediately ruled in the sellers favor and I had to call to speak with a manager to get my money back. Avoid this seller at all costs.

There are some not so good comments about coasttocoastcomics over in the Bronze Age heating up on eBay thread.

    for the lazy...

I'm pretty sure that is Frank "musclesharkdouche" that was banned from the boards.

Bought a "9.6" from coasttocoast a few years ago. Came back a 6.0, which set a record for me for worst Ebay grading ever. There are plenty of horror stories, just do some google searches.

  6. Another to block

mariolev07 - Wins auctions & wants to negotiate shipping charges to Canada to avoid the Global shipping program (I get that) but it is how he wants me to ship 6 comics (which he won on auctions)

wanted me to take them out of all the bags and boards & ship it in an envelope & get this, He wanted to pay $5.83 for shipping those comics from US to Canada.

I've bought from this guy before (mariolev), and it's always a hassle. I understand it takes longer to get things from Canada, but it's usually 30 days minimum with this guy. Plus, the 2 times I've bought from him, the packaging has been pretty shabby. His grading isn't the best, but it's about on par with ebay, so I just expect it.

He wanted me to ship it the same way he ships it, Even that by itself a huge risk on stuff getting damaged. I even went to the post office and asked if there is such a thing. They looked at me like I was under a rock.

Then explained that there is no such thing & he tells me that I was misinformed.

What bothers me is that people like that do this stuff after the auction ends. This is not the first time

so this guy has two different ebay names??>>

What also stinks is if you end up going to the second highest bidder, #1-its too long after they don't want it #2-they might think you shilled and there was never a bad buyer

  7. From Gomer Pyle to The the Kingpin.

I've been waiting for pictures to show up. :applause:

I just watched Full Metal Jacket Saturday. :headbang:

Good thing Kingpin doesnt run much. There were a few scenes in his cop show where he had to run. It was painful to watch lol. It was like he had a medical condition or something (which of course is possible i guess).

  8. I'm told they've hired new Moderators for this

Apparently wrist slaps and strikes are up 30%!

    mod-xox_zpscltskikn.jpg

This was the photo she attached to her resume.

Unfortunately the job interview was done over the phone.

When she showed up for work Harshen and Paul realized she is almost 90 years old now.

Senior Shades of Grey. It could work. Greenlight it.

  9.

Found this Cobra fact paragraph, confirming Sly actually kicked more butt than we ever saw. We need an extended DVD release!! :)

Original rough cut of the movie was over 2 hours long. Due to the concern that it wouldn't be a hit,it was cut down to 84 minutes. Some of the deleted material was cut because of the MPAA,who originally gave the movie an X rating due to the graphic violence. After massive re-editing a great deal of plot was either removed or speed up while most of the violence and nearly every death scene is edited or is always happening offscreen, often causing continuity mistakes. Because of the re-editing a great deal of action scenes are also cut.

  10. You are a symptom of the disease the selling threads have become afflicted with.

    And here's the cure.

    Man, I liked that movie.

It had academy award written all over it.

    facepalm3-3.png

Yes, it did have Academy written all over it, until Stallone blew the words to mess

  11. Man, yall are scary with all of these horrible stories. Ive had some "my baby bought your book with my phone" BS and people who were just incredibly rude for no reason whatsoever, but these stories are amazing.

Im guessing Ive been lucky because Im only buying and selling slabs, and the shenanigan percentage is much lower.
