It looks like you have the black & white virgin variant. The pencil sketch virgin is the presumed 1:100. There are 5 covers total.

Oh right that's what I meant, the Blank and White VIRGIN variant. Thanks for the correction.

My favorite is the regular colour one with the title on it. The virgin looks empty on top, and I just don't care for b&w versions of colourized books. Which is your favourite?

Well after I found out that there was a 1:100 sketch, I would say that would be my favorite as I am a big sucker for anything sketch cover by my favorite artists.

This gives me hope.  I've got 2 books currently with them in the process of being pressed.  Praying they come back better and not worse.  :wishluck:

Yeah, as long as your book doesn't have too many color breaking creases, then you should be fine. A buddy of mine sent in his ASM 300 that was a 8.5 to get pressed and it came back a 9.2! that was pretty good jump. But on the downside, I sent in my Macross #1 that was a 9.6, and it came back a 9.4!?!?! I was mad about that. Apparently the press somehow made the paper around the bottom staple tear a little. So that brought down the grade. I should've just left it at a 9.6!

Press it again and see if you can get a 9.8lol

    ***Nice books(thumbsu

I'd love to but I don't think it'll get any higher than a 9.6. There are some spine ticks that break a little color. And I'm afraid if I press it any more the staples might come through the cover. xD

I wish I can say thanks to the "Nice Books" comment, but the picture shows the book before the press on the left and the same book after the press on the right.

I'm watching those Mospeada / Robotech New Generation bikes. I was severely disappointed like many others that we didn't get Rook from the other company that ended up going out of business I believe.

But they are teasing Lancer / Yellow Dancer and his bike was always cool with the daggers even though they were never shown in action during the anime. So I'll get him when they put him up for pre-order. I never got into those Hi-Metal toys. I wish they would show some love to the Robotech Masters / Southern Cross mechs. Those hovertanks and helicopters would make good toys.

Yeah, I was hoping Beagle would've released rook and lancer, then maybe do the alphas, and finally the Invid. Now we are starting all over again with the stick and ray. So I'm hoping Sentinel pulls through and continues this line by releasing rook and lancer at least.

If you plan on getting into the Hi-Metal toys, expect to be paying about 200 to 300 for the older ones. These Hi-Metals are best bought when they are released at 75 to 95. I hear ya on the Southern cross stuff, but that series is not as popular as Macross or Mospeada. I'd love to have an updated hovertank and the VFH-10 AJAX. What I'd really like to have made are all the armored figures in each of the military divisions. There are so many that they can make.

    AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE
    REGARDING YOUR ORDER OF

    AVENGERS #8

You are receiving this email message because you have purchased a copy or set of Avengers #8.

On June 3, we launched Avengers #8 on our web store as a pre-order item. We received the shipment of books last week. Upon reviewing the shipment for quality, it became apparent that the entire shipment suffered production damages.

Production damages are caused during the manufacturing of the comics and can occur with the following processes: printing, cutting, stapling, assembling and boxing to name a few.

We have contacted the publisher, Marvel, to address these issues. The publisher has agreed to a full replacement of our order. We greatly appreciate the dedication to a quality product and assistance we received from Marvel. It is of the utmost importance to us to send our customers a product of the highest quality. While we do not expect every book to be perfect, the majority of our shipment should be devoid of obvious and avoidable production defects.

What this means to our customers

    • We expect to receive the books from the printer on June 26. We reserve approximately 7 business days to complete quality control on the shipment and prepare the books for order fulfillment (bags & boards, certificates of authentication, seals, etc). We therefore expect order processing to begin on July 3. Given that these dates are estimates in a special circumstances scenario, we cannot guarantee the dates and we will send a follow-up email when fulfillment does begin.

    • All products in your order will ship at once. For example, if your order contains Jean Grey #1 cover A and Avengers #8 cover A, then your order will ship with both books at once according to the Avengers #8 fulfillment schedule.

    • The print run quantities advertised on the web store product page remain the same. This corrected print run replaces the original print run, which has been destroyed. All orders will be fulfilled using the replacement shipment.

    Spectacular Spider-Man: Peter Parker #1

    • The release date of Spectular Spider-Man: Peter Parker #1 is June 21, with an expected fulfillment start date of June 30. Given the change in fulfillment start date of Avengers #8, due to the replacement shipment, the two books’ fulfillment period will overlap. Priority will be given to Avengers #8. As a result, we estimate certain delays will occur in fulfilling Spectacular Spider-Man: Peter Parker #1. We greatly appreciate your understanding during this period as we strive to offer our customers a quality product and service.

I just got this message from JSC.com. I'm sure those of you who ordered Avengers #8 got this message, but in case you didn't, here it is. Oh and I guess his next cover is going to be Spectacular Spiderman: Peter Parker #1.
