Take Me Home by Fletcher Flora Monarch Books No. 120 PBO 1959 $65
Sublime cover art by Harry Schaare graces this Lesbian classic. A very tough book in any condition. I'm probably crazy for selling it with what is happening with this genre.
VF minus Square and glossy with the barest trace of a reader crease and a touch of wear at the upper right corner. "R" in pen on first page.
Take plz

Truly VIBRANT color strike on this copy …probably my favorite colors for SA marvel banners - that golden yellow over that deep rich blue. Something about that combo…and of course, best enjoyed in the raw imho.
I suspect @Kramerica will want to see too

Another Bitter Disappointment, same source, same story.
The Man in the High Castle, Philip K. Dirk, Popular Library SP250
Again, first paperback edition, all pages between 8 and 191 gone. Not quite as nice, but the paperback first of Dirk's
most famous novel. Found tucked into a gorgeous hardcover copy of the first Book Club Edition of the novel.
Once again, of possible interest to someone who wants to rebuild a junk copy, or just as an oddity.
I *might* be persuaded to part with the hardcover, PM me if you're interested.
Asking $5 for this one.Take and PM incoming.

Le Téméraire No_18 (October 1, 1943) - Copy B
"Le Téméraire" was a famous "collaborationist" french comics journal published in Paris from January 1943 to August 1944. From January 1943 to the Liberation, it was the only magazine for young people distributed in the german occupied France.
Authors feartured include Erik (André René Jolly) with "Fulminate et Vorax", Francis Josse with "Marc le téméraire", Vica (Vincent Krassousky) with strips of his character Vica the sailor, and Auguste Liquois with "Vers les mondes inconnus” (a Flash Gordon inspired science fiction epic with racial overtones). In issue 18, a Ku-Klux Klan feature becomes a means to express the anti-americanism of the collaborationist government. Author J. Savary teaches us that all the officers of the Klan were Freemasons, whose contributions gave rise to rebates and since the Klan dared to attack the Jews who control the American press, the latter, with the help of the 1934 elections, dealt the group a fatal blow.
This is a pretty scarce issue. I can take pictures of the other strips in the insides if you want.
Asking$60 / 55€SOLD to Xeno1997This one is just nuts!!!

I love this thread — hard to see these days… threads like this (and members like esquirecomics) were one of the main reasons which made me decide to join the boards, over 10 years ago.
Agree and…I think many of us could say the same about YOU.

THIRD ITEM:
IF BOMBS FALL!
For this I have a comparable. Heritage sold one of these last October under this listing: "If Bombs Fall! #nn (Review and Herald, 1942) CGC GD/VG 3.0 Off-white to white pages. The first copy we have ever offered of this scarce book. WWII Air Raid Manual with illustrations by Milton Caniff. Not listed in Overstreet. CGC census 9/23: 1 in 3.0, 1 higher." It looked like this:
The copy I'm selling looks like this:
The interior of this looks good:
Heritage sold theirs for $528. This is an air raid manual with a cool cover of bombs exploding and a bomber in the midst of a fiery crash, and some illustrations by Caniff and others. But its mostly text. Digest sized. Because this one has some paint I think on the cover (see the white spot), I believe Heritage's is better both back and front. So I'm willing to let this one go for a lot less. PRICE: $100.

So if you want to make an offer, make it quick and don't be surprised if I wait a bit to see if I get a "take" first. If you really really want an item, just say "take."Buyer pays actual shipping cost including insurance for full purchase price. If you have your own collectibles insurance and want me to ship under your shipping label, that's fine. For this auction, I anticipate that all shipping will be by USPS flat rate medium box. You can propose an alternative shipping means, but I get a right of reasonable refusal if I'm uncomfortable with the means.I prefer payment by check, m.o., wire, Zell or equivalent; however, I am open to other options.I will generally take a return if notified within 3 days of delivery.FIRST ITEM:A 1944 Dick Tracy cover (6" x 9") by Chester Gould showing a bare-bottomed Hitler and Tojo getting bombed until they sing?Does that exist?Price: $40. Could be made more pretty as cover shows some texture. Interior is the music for the songs on the cover. PQ is in IMHO off-white to light cream at worst. Staples show oxidation with minor transfer to center sheet music. None of that matters to me, as the image is cool, and the inexpensive price reflects the condition issues. Items like this have no comparables because most comic fans are still learning that this kind of stuff exists. In a CGC world, more and more will figure it out.
