Another great transaction. Thanks for the great Superman books. They were packaged very securely and shipped quickly. Couldn't ask for much more than that!

Action #206, Wedding Cover! Superman Marries Lois (I think this was their first time;) 1955, there is a small piece off the edge of one page (see picture) a few worm holes and a few small tears inside, long verticle crease front. . Pages are in the cream range. There is a sub crease. Top staple is detached . Grade is Gd/VG (3.0 Bin is $65.00
What a great cover!
I'm not sure how much that impressed 10 year olds in 1955, but damn if I can't stop staring at this one. So glad that I'll be able to add it to my collection! Thanks again!

Hey Sharon, great thread as always. Your collection of Super-books never ceases to amaze and delight. I was just thinking about you last week as I was looking at the Superboy books that I got from you last year. Great stuff.
So with the pleasantries out of the way, let's talk business...
I'll take both Action Comics #199 and Action Comics #206 at 15% off.
Thanks,
Tom

the moore swamp thing hc's that came out a few years ago actually go for surprisingly big money. 1 is easy but some of the others surprised me
Yeah, mine went up for sale about 5 minutes after I stumbled across a surprising ebay listing, as I had no idea. I keep meaning to go through the rest of my tpb's to see if there are any other surprises.

Separately sell the keys and sell the rest as one lot
Agreed.
Although if the two keys are closer to 8.5 than 9.0, than they could be used to juice the price of the entire lot if they were included. That's what I ended up doing with mine, as my #87 had a 1/4" corner crease on the top right. I ended up including that in the whole lot of 1-100 (minus 98) and did all right. This was right when Cable was teased at the end of the Deadpool movie, so I'm sure the timing benefited me there as well.

Yeah, it’s a true mystery for the ages how your threads keep ending up getting removed...

Don't tell me you haven't gone to bed yet?!
I figured I'd check in this morning to see what scraps are left. Unfortunately, the Superman run your in I already have completed, so I'm sorry I wasn't able to help liven things up last night. You do know how to leave 'em in suspense though, stopping right at #232

Hey Tamir-
i got my books from the first shipment today, so thanks a ton for the great deals. There’s nothing better than having a big old stack of Super books staring back at ya!
I have a few funds left in the old discretionary account, so I’m looking forward to see what tonight brings!

I take the time to use the Search Feature and it works for me. This Forum is not perfect, but it's not Solar Boy's fault. He's achieving success in a post that 90% of us could not manage and he's probably busier than most of us.
Last week I contacted Solar Boy because my friend almost got ripped off by another Solar (City) company. While running this giant thread, Solar Boy smashed the competitor's price (over $4,000) to include superior products (upgraded invertor), incentives, and warrantees. Calculating cost, kilowatts, electric bills, system size, financing, contracts, scheduling, etc. all takes a lot of time. Anyone in California considering Solar needs to DM Solar Boy.
Tamir, I appreciate the time you took to help my friend out.
This community is the best, as @SOLAR BOY has demonstrated. Congrats on not only running a fantastic thread that I've already dropped a couple hundred bucks in, but also for being a fantastic human being. I can't wait to get my books when the post man finally shows up today!

I'll be curious to see what he does, that's for sure. I haven't really read anything of his since Siege, and haven't really read anything of his I really enjoyed since Alias...but with a whole new toy box to play with, here's hoping it breathes some new life into his endeavors.

At Tucson Comic Con this weekend a saw a sign that had this handwritten:
Autographs for fans: FREE
Dealers and resellers: $5
CGC: $30
I am seeing more signs like that recently. If a creator wants to charge those fees, that's up to him/her. There have been many threads on this board now about this topic. I chose to get a free autograph on a TPB. It does lead me to get fewer signatures.
I can’t say as I blame them. They are now playing in a market that CGC created, and that didn’t exist before then.
To do otherwise would be foolish. The trick, however, is finding the right balance of what to charge which particular market segment you’re serving.

Sorry for the delay guys my schedule has been insane. See you all tonight.
So I’m pretty sure you have had to have supplied everyone in the State of California solar panels by now, as it seems you’re always on a plane coming or going...lol
