  1. But I'm still curious - even with Darth Vader 3 - how these comics are experiencing this growth especially with those print-run numbers
  2. You're right, hence why they'll probably end up casting someone (ala Sebastian Stan) ~ That's if they don't erase the timeline as it would be very peculiar for them to kill of Grogu - given his status now in pop-culture, as of late. That would be taking subverting expectations to a whole new level for Disney, as they are a company who've lost a great deal of money on theatrical releases, cruise ships, parks, shares etc - and they clearly don't want to turn such a thing into Game of Thrones (ironically they let Dan and Dave go from their respective trilogy once the reviews for the last season came out ) But interesting, interesting you may be onto something there :3
  3. Because mainly of Lucas to that extent and how he viewed Filoni as his protege - not that it should give him more rights than another, but knowledge-wise it's a strong move, especially based on conversations Lucas and himself have had at Skywalker Ranch in the past ~ But such a character isn't going to be lightly given away, as seen with Boba, Luke and Ahsoka, for example ~ Well technically yes, but he's being trained so it's a relatively safe bet based on the ABY timeline ~ I still believe going down the path to the Disney Trilogy is a very risky move - given the reception and the loss of money etc, hence why I've given some thought into the Ahsoka theory about the World between Worlds, more so the font used in the teaser image. But then again this all depends on who's the new president of Lucasfilm in 2021 ~
  4. Completely the opposite, as the Disney trilogy shows that - or at least what happens when you created a bastardisation of Luke instead of the countless options that were shown in the instances of the EU, or creating something new instead of rehashing the events of the Original Trilogy (still am mulling over how they could butcher the characterisation of Finn too, whom had a great deal of potential akin to Kyle and Finn from EU) ~ Note the recent reception of the finale of Mandalorian season two, for instance: that's what happens when a certain character is done correctly ~ Headland stated that The Acolyte will be a female-centric piece, so I'm fairly certain we won't be seeing Darth Plagueis - and also there's no way Plagueis is appearing on anything that Dave Filoni isn't actively showrunning or producing ~ Well, it seems as if they're retconning the events of the Disney trilogy which is a good thing, and that's based on comments from both Luke and Ahsoka, and how they've actively changed the narrative that Grogu is now the first Jedi student of Luke's and not Ben ~
  5. Personally, I somewhat doubt that, as it seems to me that there's going to be a focus within the periods of post-Revenge of the Sith and after the events of Mandalorian ~ Unless it's the Old Republic which I'd very much like to see. Out of all the shows confirmed only one is set before Phantom Menace and that's The Acolyte - but stranger things have happened; though it seems to me they know the key is with Grogu and Luke Skywalker (or any of the Skywalkers or original characters) ~
  6. Curious why, especially as Leslye Headland's show: The Acolyte, takes place at the end of the High Republic period so in all chances most of the characters won't appear due to being dead - potentially, of course ~
  7. Interested to see how 'Star Wars: The Mandolorian And The Child' will end up faring once released around February of next year
  8. Isn't JLA #26 heating up as of late? Thank god I bought my raw copies in the past
  9. You're right, and I was thinking as much - so hopefully it's not the case
  10. That's awesome! They seem rather few and far between on eBay too, for example, as most of them have been taken off but I didn't realise it was one of the last publications by Milestone ~
  11. Woah, but impossible to find though? Have you managed to complete your set though? But yeah I've noticed they are quite tough, I'm trying to find a few #4's ~
  12. Woah really? Wise Son if impossible to find? I won't lie: I've noticed they're not as plentiful as the other books ~
  13. I was wondering what grade do you think this is? Would this benefit from a press or a clean? All comments are welcomed! Thank you ^_^
  14. Nope, an obscure Italian website - I managed to get the following for that price: x3 Blood Syndicate #1 (sealed) x1 Blood Syndicate #32 x2 Blood Syndicate #33, #34 and #35 Hardware #36 Hardware #37 Hardware #39 Hardware #40 Hardware #41 Hardware #42 Hardware #43 Hardware #44 Hardware #45 Hardware #46 Hardware #47 Heroes #2, #4, and #6 Icon #36 and #37 Shadow Cabinet #12, #14, #16 and #17 Static #29 x2 Wise Man #1, #2 and #3
  15. On a site note: you won't believe the issues I bought for £105 today
  16. So you don't agree with Harley, Batman Beyond and Ahsoka? But I understand where you're coming from ~
  17. It sure is haha - it's a very old-ish comic FYI: take a look at the price for Star Wars' Ahsoka's first appearance in the comics ~
  18. Real Ghostbusters #1 (the UK edition) is the first comic appearance of the Ghostbusters, but it's not as common (let alone known) as the US version, thus should be worth quite a bit - more so if it still has the original badge attached to the over; not to mention there's not one single copy that has been graded by CGC as of yet. That may be an exception to the "shouldn't be worth more" precept
  19. Hey there ^_^ I bought some Silver Age boards and bags from Silver Acre Comics, for my Modern Comics, and they fit rather well; but I ordered some more and I notice they seemed rather different - specifically, the second boards are a tad bit shorter than the original ones: The first boards being 22cm in width (which were perfect) however, the second boards I purchased are a tad too narrow at the sides compared to the last boards - with the second boards being 21.5cm in width - which is causing the comics to move from side-to-side more than the first. The first board was used in Deathwish #1 and the second board was used in Blood Syndicate #16, but my question is whether this will cause damage or other issues to my comic? Should I sent the second boards back? Is it an issue with the bags instead?
  20. I meant what Geeks was referring too: whether the other comics, as in Icon, Xombi, Static, Blood Syndicate, etc have a 2nd print as #17 does ~ I need to check some of my books
  21. I rambled a bit there I was suggesting perhaps that second-print isn't just exclusive to #17 and that in fact there could be more issues with that indicia. Plus the print-run comes into question ~
  22. Woah, never seen that before - I mean surely that's not the same with the other books? That version doesn't include the UK insignia which could mean this is not exclusive for #17.
