  1. Your #207 second print is the first I'm seeing. Possibly from a multipack or one of the So Much Fun variants? I'm intrigued and am going to be looking into this as well. Very interesting find.
  2. Could be a silly thought but since Shattered Glass ended on a cliffhanger, any chance IDW concludes it before losing the license? My gut feeling is no but wouldn't be surprised if IDW tries to milk the property a little bit more. Edit: a quick Google search returns nothing past the initial five issues.
  3. Any monkey can be trained to buy a key. It takes a man to go drek diving I'm slightly surprised that I picked a lot of these up but shorter run series and anthology series are becoming more of my jam.
  4. I generally don't draw a distinction between newsstands and direct editions but that price box Marvel used for a period makes me love that newsstand edition. I picked one up a year or so ago as well because of that.
  5. Transformers War's End #1 Online Exclusive available at IDW's site.
  6. War's End has been on my pull list, and #1 was added last week I guess. I'm still at issue #31 in the main series and as methodical/slow/whatever words we choose to use to describe it, I can definitely see that future mini series rushing to tie off loose ends. I have the last couple issues of Escape, and all of King Grimlock, Wreckers: Tread & Circuits, and Shattered Glass to go. I got sidetracked over the summer so new issues from the pull list have been piling up and I haven't been that motivated to read through the TF stuff. Once I start, it will go quick, but I'm a bit lost on what was happening before. Oops.
  7. Transformers: Last Bot Standing Looks like (another) new mini series in May from EJ Su and Nick Roche, so there is some potential IDW looks like they could be trying to tie up their TF universe in a neat package before the license goes bye bye.
  8. I hope the new series is good. I liked most stuff but avenging angel with glow in the dark guns was a bit much for me. When I got back into comics in 2013, I skipped over the Frankencastle story. It did not look good to me as I was filling in years worth of gaps. Maybe this new one will be better than anticipated but I haven't enjoyed much new material from Marvel except for some Star Wars stuff. For what it's worth, I was really digging the two Punisher series from 2014 and 2016.
  9. I didn't realize I had a few 120s. I think I bought a second as an upgrade. The pence copy is for UKPV run of UXM.
  10. We'll see. Not sure if I want to send them in yet. The 109 I might just because it's the most "key" of them. If I send it in, I should get it back by the turn of the decade
  11. Sweet! Hopefully the market gets flooded and brings down the price.
  12. Some of these may be straddling more modern, but GI Joe has a more Copper feel to me. The GI Joe 132 is my first Australian price variant. I finally got around to scanning some of the pickups over the past couple of months.
  13. Filling in some gaps on some shorter BA runs I've been working on. Courtesy of Doug Sulipa.
  14. It's bittersweet. I'll admit that when IDW picked up the license, I still had a bad taste from Dreamwave being dirt balls. There were two moments that got me back into reading and collecting comics. 2000, when I was in high school and picked up Garth Ennis' first issue of Punisher, and 2005 when IDW started with Transformers. I didn't always collect or read with regularity, especially when it came time to paying rent or buying new comics. As the years went on, however, I was able to fill in some gaps, and when I started having more disposable income, then I went full bore into it. IDW published some of my favorite Transformers stories, but it was becoming clear that the engine was starting to run on fumes. Towards the end of the initial continuity, it was getting a little too convoluted. Hasbro getting involved is normal, but I was getting tired of constantly crossing over with other toys. I was excited when the new continuity started in 2019. I'm at least seven issues behind on the main series, haven't yet finished Escape, and haven't even started on King Grimlock or Wreckers: Tread & Circuits. The main series felt like it wanted to be a political thriller but the thrills weren't always there. Every time it felt like it was picking up the pace, it started to meander off again and that's probably why I haven't bothered to get caught up reading it. I got pulled back in with the '84 storyline. It was great getting a Simon Furman-penned story again. I did add War's End to my pull list. I think it's all force of habit at this point. I do hope that whoever is awarded the license has some fresh ideas while sticking to the basic concepts of the Transformers. I don't know if I'll be picking up anything after IDW's run ends but never say never.
  15. There was hype of the 1st appearance of Omega Red. Probably due to all first appearances now being regarded as a key especially any character that hasn't appeared in the MCU yet.
  16. Circle of Blood The Cell Born Welcome Back, Frank The Slavers Valley Forge, Valley Forge Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe Punisher War Journal #6-7 vs Wolverine Ghosts of Innocents Year One Eurohit Barracuda Honestly, just about anything from Garth Ennis' run on the character is gold. Edit: Maybe Jigsaw Puzzle and Final Days as well. I remember liking them back in the day but haven't read them since the mid 90s.
  17. First appearance of the Reavers in UXM 229, Infectia in XF 28, and the Skid Row Slasher in Punisher 8? Heck yeah!
  18. I picked up the GSX1 after foolishly selling my last one a few years ago to ironically purchase a new one, which I didn't do. The Batman was because it was available.
  19. @Kramerica wow! Thank you so much! You went above and beyond and every thing was awesome! The packaging, the wrap job, Spot. All of it. Again, thank you and have a Merry Christmas and a great holiday season!
  20. I received a package a week or two ago. I'll open it on Christmas. Right now it is under the tree. Thank you!
  21. It's a great mini series detailing Frank's time in Vietnam. It was Garth's take on the seeds of becoming the Punisher being planted.
  22. Maybe. I haven't seen as much interest in the 2005 IDW continuity stuff as I used to. However, that is one of the more sought after covers in that run.
