  1. If you aren't already doing this, and if you're reporting your business income, you can make deductions against your income such as some home costs (a portion of your mortgage interest, property tax, insurance, utilities, etc), as well as some travel costs.
  2. I think I recall reading in that same book that Claremont had a lot of pull at Marvel at the time, including not allowing his girlfriend to be fired even though she was incompetent (or otherwise somehow undesirable in the office). I'm sure he got paid well, especially since he was there for so long and so prolific.
  3. Being in Niagara Falls, there should be a lot of hotel jobs available. Being homeless and largely jobless will be a red flag, but probably not moreso than with any other employer. 4. I was venturing into ASM back issues at the time and was on a tremendous hot streak until I hit ASM 264. It's near the top of my all-time comic disappointments. Red 9!
  5. Even if the book was taken down to complete some side deal, is that against the rules or something? I wouldn't have assumed so.
  6. I have coverless copies of: Flash Comics 30 Star Spangled War Stories 133 GI Joe (Ziff-Davis) 43 and 47 Tarzan (Dell) 48 and 50 Tracy (Harvey) 95
  7. To be fair, not all of them are private. He sold a Warhol for $81! Most of his feedback comes from one very happy customer.
  8. I imagine that you've seen this already, but just in case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301888802723?afsrc=1&rmvSB=true I have nothing to do with the sale, just noticed it up for auction.
