  1. Understood, but it was a cool cover, good name, and intriguing-looking monster story; maybe dr jekyll or even a bit frankenstein-ish. And first chapter so no risk of missing anything. Hence my surprise. In contrast to say, AF 15 which had another new name, turned out to be last issue, and weirder looking spider guy.
  2. Amazing, how did Hulk 1 not sell out ?
  3. Two days, temps in the 40s-50s (F). Pretty wild.
  4. Wow. Nothing remotely similar to yours, but here's a pretty one I took last month when an unexpected freeze hit San Antonio of all places, and my neighbor across street left the auto sprinklers on. Stay safe buddy.
  5. Yeah, I was a dummy, thought he was talking about Marvel silver in general when he was obv talking about the FF 46.
  6. Really nice copies of these 'Olshevsky' indexes. Got a whole set but my first few are used, congrats on this pair. Nice stuff, speedcake, !, though I'm beginning to think I'm never gonna just come across a Rampaging Hulk 27 (last iss), but might need to actually go looking for it.
  7. There are pinups in a bunch of issues (and if removed from comic it gets a CGC grade 0.5 "incomplete" or something). E.g. recent books I've bought at a discount because "missing p. 12" (which was a pinup in both cases) include ASM 1 and X-Men 6. The pinups were started early too, in Fantastic Four 2, 3 and 4 for example. There's probably a list of which comics had pinups somewhere out there.
  8. I'll take these please, Dan.

  14. I don't like posting there either - too much riff raff over there. lizards2 gave me the same sage advice (had like 4 books from early copper or something), and it makes sense from traffic maximizing pov, but personally this low-key place is less frenetic and more laid back.

  18. Take please the ST 125 @$30 (including the ship). Please add to the slab I bought last round; now I don't feel as bad about waiting to send the check. ; ) Will send check today, no need to invoice Andy, I'll update our active PM. Good luck at the show, amigo!
  19. Reminder that it's this Saturday. A preview - yes, yes, just a picture of some boxes. ; ) Plus there are a few already stacked by the door (magazine and TPBs, etc.)
  20. Glad this book was never used for a grading contest - would've called it a 2.5, even if that big creasing near spine might be tears.
  21. WTTB (welcome to the bds). <<Buy comics.>>
