Great albums: Stating the obvious I guess.

If I were an artist today, and I could have someone of the caliber of FELIX rep me, no problem. Otherwise, I'd be really nervous today.

Played that album over and over on a cross country drive when it came out. Loved it.

Jim Mooney was a true blue guy. He always left me a personal note or an extra surprise when shipping me a piece of art. I do believe Jim was almost exclusively concentrating on commissions until he passed away. Looks like like you snagged a good piece Dr. Balls. Enjoy it.

It sure paid to beat the crowd. I really like Scott's work. This one is great. There is a commission page thread on the OA boards here. Never use friends and family on PayPal for a business transaction. You are not covered if you get scammed. I would leave negative comments on his CAF page explaining the situation. I hope that might get him to respond to you.

I don't believe it. I can tell you with certainty that only Dan Adkins is on these pieces and also the other ones you referenced from black line. Dan confirmed this on a surfer piece I bought from him 20 years ago. I traded that piece at an $200 value making it 100% clear it was not original Buscema underneath. and then saw it flipped at something called the Vault in UK for $1200 a month later. I had paid Dan $80 for an 11x17 and traded it as a Dan Adkins, making it clear it was Adkins only. When it sold in the UK for $1200, it was auctioned as of it was John and Adkins. :-( These are nice but I sure wouldn't pay too much for them.

Agree. I can definitely see softness in the market. It doesn't translate to wins for me at auction though. Maybe I'm unlucky. Maybe my tastes don't match up with my billfold. I've won 2 comic auctions but I'm 0-20 in the HA original auctions. If I were an NFL quarterback and my bids (passes) were dropped by the wide receiver (auction house) we'd be out of a job. A thought: To covid 19 markets, shill bidders, friends and family bump bids, dealers looking for 5x flips, auction houses and consignors presenting inaccurate, fraudulent or misleading descriptions of art, FMV manipulation, mediocre art with A level artist ask prices, DROP DEAD. and if I've forgot anything please let us know.
