  1. I also had that same page in my cart, completed check out, & waited hours to open the 'I am very sorry to tell you that..." email.
  2. ...so, the Tradd Moore original art to just 'half' of Silver Surfer: Black #2 sold out in seconds(!!) with the sale prices totalling $50,000...
  3. I just received the 'I am very sorry to tell you that you did not get this page' email... It was my first time participating in the Felix Comic Art drop. The software allowed me to 'check out'(?). I am not familiar with this process & curious as to how many of us 'unlucky' participants are 'allowed' to complete the 'check out' process before the software marks the item as "On Hold" & prevents others from putting the same item into the cart... On to the next deal...

  10. One recent eBay example, May 21, 2020... G.I. Joe, ARAH #81 CGC 9.8 White pgs, Newsstand $146 [+shipping; +sales tax?] According to GPA, the last public sale of a CGC 9.8 White pg example was March 12, 2019 for $84. Three assumptions here are that there was no shipping charge, there was no sales tax charge, & it was a direct edition example. As previously stated, the buyer determines 'how much of a premium' is paid for each newsstand example. That 'premium' is likely impacted by numerous variables simultaneously, with emotion being perhaps the single most impactful...
  11. Mr. Snyder has allegedly 'valued' original comic book art which features gambling iconography...go figure... This asking price feels like the cover is from his personal collection & he doesn't want to sell it for what someone is immediately willing to pay.
  12. ...voted with my wallet a few auction cycles back. Soon to be professionally graded... Did you know...The Amazing Spider-Man & the Fantastic Four are featured on the front cover of DD #1!
