  1. Selling my Walking Dead Collection (TPBs and Comics) Walking Dead Comics & TPB Lot (129 Comics & 23 TPBs) 146 books total
  2. I'm trying to see who would take my hands off these. Apparently I made an order but did not click for it to be charged to the gift cards (thought I did). So now I have an unexpected credit card bill that I have to get rid of. Let me know who wants to work something out. I have an impeccable user rating on Ebay BTW. Peace help a fellow collector out if you can.
  3. Might switch over I use one called comic geek, its cool just acts janky sometimes if you don't have good service or a wifi connection.
  4. I ordered 30$ worth of books from them last month. Have sent them 2 emails and have received no response or shipping confirmation. Should I just report it as fraud with my bank? disgusting business practices.
  5. I hate when they relaunch but such is the lay of the land nowadays... However, they should keep the legacy numbering on the cover along with the new relaunch number... satisfy the fanboys and the veterans Marvel!
  6. Redman - Whateva Man Take Redman's advice... It's whatever, seems like you have the answers to your own question with what you've seen with the market prices lately... Cosmic Ghostrider is getting his own series... so its up to you... I'm holding my copies because I like the series...
  7. it's ight... doesn't have me excited at all. I just all feels forced... It's probably because I hold Watchmen and Moore to such a high regard and thats why I won't give it a chance.
  8. One day, one day... one day, I will not have to sell my bone marrow multiple times to afford this book
  9. ordered some comics from them on the 15th... still in processing *crosses fingers*
  10. I'll check it out eventually... definitely don't like how they did Starlin dirty though...
  11. Do you think the book will cool down? Or should I bite the bullet? Edit: Bit the bullet bought Thanos 14, 15 & 16 off ebay.
  12. I can't find those cosmic ghost rider comics... ebay is ridiculous right now... should've had Thanos on the pull list! sheesh
  13. hopefully the earlier red goblin issues go down in price!
  14. peace man I see your from Jersey #Respect its rough out here just have to move accordingly and you'll be fine... Somethings just get lost in the ether... but theres more to the town than just the now closed book center... but those are stories for another time!
  15. wow mythological man?! what stories have you heard? Depends on what area of Passaic your walking through...
  16. Ok... coincidentally I ran into a friend from elementary school yesterday at my local comic store... Haven't seen this guy since I was a kid! We started talking about the Passaic Book Center and google lead me to these threads as I was getting my nostalgia on. My friend was telling me how the owner told him that they had to close their store because of thefts (I'm sure it was more complicated than that). And its funny cuz we didn't have money for comics as a kid (except my one cousin who had a ton of comics). Unfortunately my other cousin used to rob the Passaic Book Center with his friends and thats how he would pass down some comics to me from time to time. I only had a shoe box full as a kid. But as far as the store they had a cool layout the store was wide and had alot of space stretching out to the other side of the block (its how I remember it). It's now a large supermarket so I imagine that they used the existing layout. There were clotheslines hanging throughout the store and I remember they had books hanging from them. They had cards, books, and comics; I mostly remember the regular books in the front and comics in the back. My brother got this comic when we went there one time and I got marvel vs. DC #3. I forgot what my book my older brother got. The comic store eventually shut down and moved further down the block on Passaic street I believe, it was a much smaller location which I never went to cuz its a shady area. I remember being sad when the store closed. I was a kid and only went like 3 times maybe more because it was unfathomable for my parents to take me to a comic book store unless it was once in the blue and we weren't that adventurous to go to the other side of town when we were that young (we woulda got whooped!). thats all I got pretty much... hazy memory but the store was very impactful! peace! let me know if ya have other questions.
  17. Passaic Book Center pictures (check out my post from the other thread) I remember they had books hanging on a clothes line... I only went a few times as kid...
  18. I'm familiar with the store probably went a handful of times as a child...
  19. I remember the store... was sad when they closed down... I have stories... I was a wee lad though!
  20. I have a story or two about this store... let me know peeps.
  21. F marvel straight up... Haven't read any of their events since Secret Wars (which was dope). I do the back issue thing mostly and some indies... gonna quit action comics after #1000... collecting tom king's batman... walking dead and southern bastards... my pull list is weak lately... want to collect ASM tho... as long as Alex Ross stays on the covers atleast... Marvel lost me man... the legacy #'s was a positive step... but they relaunches are trash... new # 1's trash... also not letting the characters age or stay dead always bugged me about the big two...
  22. Jersey is dope... very competitive... i like that there is still green patches of land scattered throughout the state... philly and NY close by... it's all good when things are going good... I'm in North Jersey... 20 mins from the city...
