  1. You're a better man than I am. Thanks for all the responses. Even those intended to ridicule me.
  2. I paid $400+ to have these books graded. I'd hope they wouldn't tell me to "eff off." And what is a label donkey? Someone who complains about a label error? Would you want your book to say 1st appearance of Captain Ame Rica?
  3. I don't like using the phone because there's no paper trail.
  4. I sent in 10 copies of Albedo 3 and they all came back with Lord Nori Yuki instead of Lord Noriyuki. This is the first time I've ever sent multiple books into CGC and they messed up the label. Very disappointing! I contacted them via email and never got a reply. What are my options?
  5. I purchased a few of these Sakai Signature variants directly from Stan when they first came out and I was wondering if I decided to get them slabbed would CGC put "Name written on cover" or would they put "Stan Sakai written on cover" since these books were sold exclusively through Stan's website? I've been looking online for months to see what the label looks like, but I haven't seen one for sale. I know they won't be verified. I just don't want "Name written on cover" on the label. Thanks
  6. I had no idea a comic book could come back with those spots all over it, so it's a bit aggravating. Sure it made the book more "valuable", but I have no interest in selling it. My brother has a bunch of CGC books from 10+ years ago and none of them have this issue. My apologies if I am not using the word properly. verb (used without object), jarred, jarring. 1. to have a harshly unpleasant or perturbing effect on one's nerves, feelings, thoughts, etc.
  7. So I can ask to have the book slabbed again?
  8. I sent in a book I've had since the 90's to be graded and it came back with a lot of what CGC calls "Rainbow Effect". Does this happen on every book? It was graded a 9.8 which is cool, but the entire book looks like this. It's a bit jarring.
