  1.  I have no idea what I'm doing........The stain thing has me confused........I had 7 points on 4 books ....but The Power Girl......the stain....I read an 8.0 has no obvious staining ????   So I thought must be lower because to me it was obvious that it was a stain......but I guess it's not a stain ?  Maybe it is ...I still don't know.....anyways I hear they hammer stains.....so I give it a ....Drum Roll.....6.5    O.M.G......h aha ah aha ha .........O.K.  so now I think a book can have a stain and be a 9.8........so it has to be a bad stain or you just kind of ignore it........O.K.   so I'll  go with that for now until next time i screw something up about stains and learn something different about them again.

  2. 9.0.... is what I feel but with grading the way it is now I think this would slab at least a 9.2......maybe a press would bring out the crease if that is indeed what it is and it could go a little higher..............

I'm thinking 9.0/9.2 mainly because of that creasing on the front cover. With the yellow artwork it's tough to tell if it's light reflectivity or color break. If it's the latter then the grade may go down into the VF range.

Perhaps an interesting story - the Walking Dead twice got me back into comics.

I collected from the age of 10 in 1985 until around 1997. I've always been a big horror movie buff and an old school zombie head. In 2003 I heard about the Walking Dead series and picked up the first trade paperback then issue one somewhere at I think cover price. I was back in the game until around 2010 or so.

I came back to the hobby the third time in 2019 when I heard that the Walking Dead series was ending. I picked up issues 92 and 93 and once again I had the bug.

    Thanks for posting.

So your gonna turn 50 this year ........Just like .....Wake Of The Flood..... turned 50 ........the other day......Now.... Mars Hotel..... is gonna turn 50....Probably my two favorite Dead  albums.........Our stories of starting and stopping collecting mirror each other................For me it was ...The Death Of Captain America ...which drew me back in.........I also went bonkers over ....The Walking Dead......It started with issue # 150....I was so impressed.........Then I backtracked and filled in the entire collection.......It's one of the great series...

  3.     We have a couple spine stress lines with one small color breaking.....One semi large stress line with a slight one above that.....it's hard to see cause it's in the black along the spine. ....In the blue along the spine there is a slight..... crease ?....It's smooth so I don't think it's a scratch ....it's a line....I don't know what it is.

P.S.  Thanks for all grades and thoughts.

Without the missing piece this book is in the FN/VF 7.0 range, however, with the piece missing, IMO (not CGC's)...VG+ 4.5 to VG/FN 5.0

    Pieces Missing

VG/FN 5.0 and Up, no missing pieces are allowed

VG 4.0 - As much as a 1/4" triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge; a missing 1/8" square is also acceptable.

GD/VG 3.0 - A triangle from 1/4" to 1/2" can be missing out of the corner or edge; a missing 1/8" to 1/4" square is also acceptable.

GD 2.0 - The largest piece allowed missing from the front or back cover is usually a 1/2" triangle or a 1/4" square,

FR/GD 1.5 - . Up to 1/10 of the back cover may be missing.

I want to thank you for all your help.............
